L'Oulivastre will charm you with its quiet location in the countryside and close to shops and restaurants.
Everyone is amazed by the view of the countryside and the mountains of the Luberon and Sainte Vixtoire.

On an enclosed plot of 2500 m2, you will enter through an automatic gate and can park your car either in the outdoor courtyard or in a closed garage attached to the house.
In the garden, fruit trees and aromatic plants, a cozy pool area, shaded terraces or in the sun for lunch or dinner outside.

During the winter of 2018/2019, renovation works were carried out. We can now offer 3 large bedrooms that can accommodate 3 couples and better furnished exteriors.
The floors and paintings have been redone as well as the toilets.

During the winter 2019/2020 we renovate the veranda, the dining area, the swimming pool is its surroundings, it will be heated in spring and autumn.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned villa, which features a fireplace and a private pool. There's a private balcony or patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. A Smart television and a DVD player are provided for your entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected.

Fantastische villa in prachtige omgeving!

In de meivakantie verbleven wij een week in deze prachtige villa. Dat was echt genieten! Het huis is heel erg mooi, alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd. ‘s ochtends genieten van een kopje koffie op het terras met prachtig uitzicht, ontbijten buiten, zwemmen in het (verwarmde!) zwembad en ‘s avonds de bbq aan. In de omgeving voldoende mooie dorpjes om te bezoeken en lekkere restaurantjes. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Quality house in a beautiful setting

Choose the house because it had a heated pool for an Easter get away. Plenty to see nearby. House is extremely well equipped with everything from 2 bbqs through to all the kitchen equipment you will need. A/C throughout although we did not need it (even during the 30 degree days). House is modern inside with fast wifi etc. Hosts Olivier and Sophie) showed us how things worked (expresso machine etc) and then left us to enjoy the setting. Food wise, there are several markets nearby (with produce that puts the U.K. to shame) and a very good supermarket with a dry aged beef cabinet. Lourmarin nearby has a great feel for local eating and there is a Michelin restaurant 5 minutes away (which also has a very good local based restaurant attached). Very quiet indeed. Very pleased with the choice.

Fantastic villa with amazing views over the Luberon Mountains

We had a wonderful week at Sophie and Oliviers’ lovely villa. It is really well equipped and very comfortable. The location and views are fantastic, we wished we were there for longer. No hesitation in recommending for a great holiday in Provence.

Wonderful, relaxing and the perfect getaway

This is the most charming house, set in a stunning setting. The owners could not be more helpful and have put everything possible in the house to make you feel at home. We all just loved it and our kids played in the garden for ever. We would definitely come back - in fact we would love to have stayed longer, and that is even after a week of nearly incessant rain! A real gem.

This is a beautiful property. The house and grounds are all beautiful and high spec. Lots of space, more than you can see in the photos. The house is really well set out too, all amenities easily accessible. The village is also gorgeous, a very pretty working town and everyone there was very welcoming and friendly. This is by far the best property I have ever rented on the holiday market. Do it!

Two weeks in Paradise

The easy part is saying that our time at l’Oulivastre was the experience of a lifetime for my wife, couple friends, and myself. Explaining how, without getting carried away, is a challenge, but here goes. Since you have probably read some details, let me give our personal impressions starting with the most obvious. Yes, the panoramic view from the deck is breathtaking, the starlit sky (shooting stars thrown-in) is skin-tingling, the pool a perfect complement to the warm dry weather, the house is delightful and offers a consistently cool respite from the heat outside without the necessity of A.C. and it makes one feel immediately at home because everything you need is right there. A bonus is the layout, which offers, effectively, two suites so that our friends felt as cozy as we did. The settling-in period is instantaneous, so you can relax and start having fun right away, whether it’s swimming, barbecuing, eating al-fresco, or even drying clothes on an outside line (and pressing them into your face to make sure they’re as warm and dry as they look). As comfortable as we felt on the beautiful property (fig trees and rose bushes included), passing through the iron gates led to more pleasures. The village of Lauris is majestic in its setting – high on a ridge – but truly modest in a charming way with plenty of visitors, but no tourists that we met, making us a pleasant diversion to shopkeepers as we fumbled with our fractured French. To be able to jog down to the local patisserie to pick up fresh croissants and to marvel at the fresh fruit, peppers, and other vegetables at the Épicerie next door was invigorating as were the markets that would appear for the morning in the town square. We recommend Thursday’s fish-market and seeing what catches your eyes. For us it was the calamari that became mouth-watering after a little time on the outdoor grill. Of course, you may have other ideas. Maybe you’re looking for the renowned Provence cuisine, or to visit wineries and be wowed by the quality and the commitment, or drive to villages in the sky (Bonnieux, Roussillon, and Gordes) so you can feel on top of the world, and only spend an hour getting there? Remarkably, that all comes with the territory. There, I’ve done it. I have gone on too long. Still, I saved the best for last. Sophie and Olivier (et famille) are natural hosts, proud of what they found and wanting to share. With them, your comfort at l’Oulivastre is guaranteed. Enjoy. Paul

We were initially apprehensive never having stayed in this house or Lauris, both thankfully lived up to our expectations. We initially arrived late but our hosts actually put themselves out by an hour to wait for us, then, when we left, we left clothes for the rest of our holiday and they waited in so we could pick it back up. All in all above and beyond the call. On to the house. It is a newish build but everything in the house has been properly thought of whether it was the glass panel on the decking to protect the super comfy seat from the. wind or the way the pool had been positioned to make it sheltered but full of sun all day. The views of Mont Victoire and surrounding area were stunning. We usually go walking on holiday this house drew you in like a magnet, you just didn't want to leave. Also the flowers on the table when you arrive and the fig jam both helped make our stay one of our very best holidays. Ps if you want somewhere to eat ignore the overpriced hotels, restaurants and pizza parlours La Table de Margot is the best by a country mile. Unfortunately for Sophie and Oliver we'll be back

Superb villa, beautiful view, completely relaxing holiday.

My husband and I stayed at this fabulous villa with our 8 year old son, and our 5 year old daughter. We were fortunate enough to stay for three weeks - but even this wasn't enough! The villa was very well equipped which made it a complete home from home. The owners were lovely people who welcomed us with a tour of the villa, and some homemade fig preserve and a bottle of rose in the fridge! They were on hand as and when needed, whilst completely respecting our privacy. I can't put into words how perfect this holiday was, and I can most definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to spend some special family time together. Thank you Sophie and Olivier

Great home for our family of 4 - with 14 and 11 year old girls. Lauris was a great base for day trips and a lovely non-touristy town with the requisite boulangerie/patissieres and regular farmers markets. Loved having multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy the views from. And we heartily recommend the chocolate fondant dessert at La Table de Margot. (It would be helpful to have better directions to get to the house, both from the north (Bonnieux) and from the southwest, with specific street names.) Thanks!

Une residence de vacances idyllique.

Nichée sur les hauteurs de Lauris avec un horizon decouvrant la montagne Sainte Victoire, cette maison a tous les atouts pour un sejour reussi. Un merveilleux jardin accueillant une jolie piscine, entourée de figuiers complete ce décor provencal, les cigales venant ponctué ce tableau. Rien ne manque pour l'intendance et c'est à souligner car c'est loin d'etre toujours le cas. Felicitations aux heureux proprietaires de ce petit paradis !

Herrliche erholsame Tage in einem wunderbaren Ferienhaus

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa Oulivastre rundherum genossen: die weite Aussicht in den Luberon, die Stille und Ruhe, das große, gepflegte, sehr schön angelegte, kaum einsehbare Grundstück mit Beeten, Bäumen und großem beheiztem Pool, die verschiedenen Terrassen mit Lounge-Möbeln, Essplatz, Liegestühlen, Markisen, die erstklassige Ausstattung des Hauses in modernem Ambiente, die perfekt ausgestattete Küche. Die Besitzer haben uns sehr freundlich mit selbst gezogenenTomaten, selbst eingekochter Marmelade und Honig aus eigener Produktion empfangen und uns in die Benutzung persönlich eingewiesen. Die fünf Tage waren viel zu kurz - wir werden wiederkommen! Herzlichen Dank, Sophie und Olivier!

Great stay

We spent a week at Oulivastre. Great house, pool and garden, very calm environment, great views. Photos absolutely realistic, the garden is even bigger than visible on the photos. Equipment without gaps. Air conditioning in the bedrooms. Good price-performance ratio. Sophie and Olivier are very nice hosts, showed us everything, were very responsive in case of questions. Definitely we would like to come back.

Liebe Sophie, lieber Olivier wir können nur DANKE sagen. Das Haus übertraf unsere Erwartungen, es war alles perfekt. Man merkt, dass alles getan wird von Euch, dass Eure Gäste sich wohlfühlen. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünscht. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, die Betten sind bequem, alles ist sehr sauber. Den Pool konnten wir aufgrund der Poolheizung täglich nutzen. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist traumhaft. Wir werden mit Sicherheit wieder kommen. Und sehr wichtig: ganz tolle, symphatische Gastgeber. Paradis en Luberon

Accueil remarquable de gentillesse dans cette propriété magnifique entièrement rénovée récemment. Le jardin ( ou plutôt parc vu la taille)est d’un entretien parfait ds une ambiance provençale et une grande piscine légèrement en contrebas de la maison très calme et agréable. La vue est époustouflante à 180 degrés dégagée sur des kilomètres. Aucun vis à vis, tranquillité absolue à 10mn à pied du centre de Lauris avec ses commerces, ses bons restaurants et ses terrasses. Équipement au top! Bref un séjour parfait et des propriétaires très réactifs au moindre éventuel problème. Nous conseillons sans réserve. En plus la région est magnifique et Lourmarin à 4km

Traumurlaub in einem Traumhaus

Unsere ganze Familie hat diesen Urlaub in diesem Traumhaus genossen. Wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl. Das wirklich wunderschöne, sehr gut geschnittene Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und auch der Außenbereich, mit mehreren verschiedenen Sitzbereichen, lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch der Pool ist natürlich fantastisch. Und der Ausblick ist unglaublich. Fazit: Traumhaus, Traumurlaub, wir kommen wieder.

Super séjour dans une superbe maison dans une superbe région

Pour la troisième année consécutive, nous avons été accueillis par Sophie et Olivier avec toujours autant de bienveillance et de disponibilité. La maison est très accueillante et s'embellie d'années en années grâce aux nombreux travaux réalisés par Sophie et Olivier. La vue depuis la terrasse est juste extraordinaire !
