"Laurel Ridge Retreat" - 2-bedroom cabin with firepit, outdoor TV and waterfall

Discover this 2-bedroom cabin in Laurel Springs that sleeps up to 10 people. Inside, guests find a queen bedroom, a bunk room featuring a twin bed and three bunk beds including a twin over a full that is favorite with parents and children. Also if needed, there is a small sofa that makes into an extra full bed in the cozy living room. The bathroom features a refreshing shower and there is a fold out tub that is used for young children's bath, if needed. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or enjoying the peaceful surroundings, this delightful cabin offers a pleasant retreat. With heating and AC, comfort is always within reach. Our place is equipped for both long or short stays to make your retreat one to remember. The kitchen is fully stocked for your cooking pleasure. Including pots, frying pans, sheet pans, basic spices, oils, and all utensils. Two coffee pots and coffee cups, wine bar with glasses, and all needed drinking glasses. Beds are made and ready for relaxing. Extra pillows and blankets provided along with fans, if you like air moving at night. The outside is where most people stay. A spacious fire pit is just outside and the focal point of gatherings. Wood is provided, along with starter pieces to make it easy to light. Sit next to the fire and listen to the water trickle down the waterfall, only 30 feet away. No reason to move much as you can stream your favorite programs on the outside TV, all the while making smores over the open fire. A propane grill is also provided so you can enjoy cooking outdoors as much as the weather allows. If you feel a little too relaxed, hiking is always an option. There are 20 acres of walking available above the cabin or you can walk 2 miles to the Blue Ridge parkway or to Thistle Meadow Winery if you don't mind a little road traffic. You are also just under 14 miles to the Kings Creek New River Access. Bring your canoe or kayak and enjoy a day on the river.
