A charming Victorian house with heritage furnishings, comfortable room with wonderful views. Free breakfast was a bonus and much appreciated. Close to the CBD, just down the hill. Would have extended our stay but was booked out, never mind we'll be back.

What a charming address with wonderful view of the CBD and Tamar river. My room was very clean, had everything I required. My welcome and checkin was seamless. It is a lovely old house with lovely rooms The bed was great and more than enough pillows and a warm feeling to it. The ensuit/bathroom is small but more than adequate. The stairs are a little steep and you need to take care if like me you're an older visitor. I slept very well. Will visit again!

Hillview is as it says a view from a hill. A very steep hill just out of CBD. Too steep to walk every day for sure. Jesse our host was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was nice but WC was down four steep steps! Weird layout. Carpet, being plain red needs a deep clean in Room 6.

Accommodation was very good with decent facilities , room was smallish but equipped well. Only let down by the thick dust in the bathroom on the lights over the sink and very dusty extractor fan , the rest of the room was very clean and dust free. The breakfast was also very welcome
