The best value place I stayed in Iceland, nice buffet breakfast included in the price which is unusual for the basic accommodation in Iceland. As with everything at this kind of price in Iceland you need good earplugs. Good location for tackling F26 the next day.

This was a stay! The staff were very nice and helpful, the food was good, and the other guests were nice too. There were several bathrooms for the rooms with shared baths, so we didn’t have any issues sharing. Everything was clean and well-kept. The beds were comfortable too and we slept well. One thing that is important to note: this is 14 miles down a gravel road with some bumps, so just be prepared for that. Our rental car (2WD) did fine, but it took a little longer to arrive than we expected.

Great breakfast included. Close to Adeyjarfoss which was magnificent. We had to put the 2 single beds together but it was a great room. Like the shared fridge in the common area.
