The Rhein-Blick vacation apartment offers an excellent and quiet location. Between the apartment and the Rhine, you’ll find only bike paths, hiking trails, and the Hochrheinbahn railway.
Laufenburg is an ideal starting point for bike tours and hikes in the Hotzenwald, the Southern Black Forest, and the Aargau Jura Park. Your host knows the area very well and can give you plenty of tips and recommendations for things to do.

Apartment Terrace Carport
The vacation rental, which has its own entrance, is located on the 1st floor. In addition to the living/bedroom (bed 200x180 cm), there is a kitchen-dining area, a small bathroom, and a beautiful, sunny south-facing terrace. A spacious studio room attached to the apartment can be used, for example, as an office. Your car will find a covered spot in the carport. Wi-Fi is available (unfortunately, no high-speed internet).

Location overlooking the city and the Rhine
This light-filled accommodations are particularly well-suited for those who appreciate the finer things in life and for longer stays. If you’re in the area on business or want to work at your desk in a quiet setting, you’ll find ideal conditions here.
The German train station in Laufenburg (Baden) and the bus stops are a 5-minute walk away. The Swiss train station (SBB) with its bus terminal is 1.2 km away. The proximity to public transportation in Germany is particularly appealing, as the free KONUS guest card allows for free use of public transportation.
Several restaurants, a wine bar, and an ice cream shop are all within easy walking distance. The old town boasts several “gems” such as the Schoggi-Werkstadt, two museums, the castle, cultural attractions… The scenic “Laufenburger Acht” loop trail and a variety of biking and hiking trails are practically right on your doorstep. At the large “Laufenpark” shopping center, just 2 km away, you’ll find all kinds of stores and a pharmacy.
Laufenburg not only has two outdoor swimming pools but also offers the opportunity to swim in the Rhine at Badmatte—about a 10-minute walk from the apartment. Thanks to the short distances to bus and train stops, places like Bad Säckingen, Waldshut, Basel, and others are easily accessible even without a car. You can walk to Switzerland across the nearby Altstadtbrücke; the border crossing for motor vehicles is about 2 km away.
In the region, you can explore caves (Hasler Cave, Tschamber Cave), and the impressive ruins of the Roman cities of Vindonissa and Augusta Raurica are not far away. Several lakes in the Black Forest and south of the Jura Mountains are easily accessible.
