Welcome to The Lamont at Airhouses

Enjoy a relaxing countryside escape at The Lamont, a beautiful Norwegian-style wooden lodge set on our family-run organic working farm in the Scottish Borders. With wonderful views, spacious interiors and your own private hot tub, it’s a lovely place to spend time with family and friends, explore the countryside or simply slow down and enjoy a change of pace.

The Lamont sleeps up to six guests in three comfortable en-suite bedrooms, each with a luxurious super king or king-size bed. If you prefer separate beds, one of the super king-size beds can be arranged as twins. The lodge has a light and spacious feel, with floor-to-ceiling windows bringing the surrounding landscape into the living and dining areas. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, whether you're cooking a family dinner or enjoying a leisurely breakfast before heading out for the day.

Outside, the two-tier decking provides space to sit, dine outdoors and enjoy the fresh country air. The private hot tub is the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the Scottish Borders, with the peaceful surroundings making it easy to leave the everyday routine behind. The lodge is also dog-friendly, so your four-legged family members can join you on your break.

Enjoy life on our farm

Airhouses is more than somewhere to stay. Our family-run farm offers a chance to enjoy the countryside at a gentler pace, with open spaces, wildlife and farm animals to discover. You can enjoy walks around the farm, watch the changing weather across the hills and spend time outdoors without needing to go far. Depending on the season, you may see a variety of animals and birds, and there are opportunities to meet some of our friendly farm residents.

The surrounding Scottish Borders offer plenty to explore, from scenic walks and quiet country roads to historic towns, local villages and independent places to eat and shop. If you fancy a day out, Edinburgh is around 40 minutes away by car, making it possible to combine a peaceful rural stay with a visit to Scotland’s capital. Or you can stay closer to home and make the most of the lodge, the countryside and your private hot tub.

Make time for wellness

If relaxation is high on your holiday wish list, you can also book a session in our Wild Wellness Sauna, an outdoor Nordic sauna with views across the surrounding countryside. For a little extra indulgence, Natural Wellness Scottish Borders offers holistic treatments at Airhouses, including full-body massage with organic oils, Indian Head Massage, Reiki and facials.

Whether you spend your days walking, exploring the local area, meeting the animals or enjoying a wellness treatment, you can return to The Lamont to relax in the hot tub and enjoy a peaceful evening together.

At The Lamont, we absolutely adore furry friends! We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs for an extra £45 per dog throughout your stay. Just let us know after booking by heading to 'Manage My Booking,' or feel free to reach out to us, and we'll take care of it for you!
