I've been going to the Orleans for years. Rod, the swing shift bartender (5 pm to 1 am) at the Alligator Bar is fantastic. He is so polite and helpful. Fuddruckers is another plus, you can a burger 24:hours a day. There are other restaurants as well on the property, but not much available off the property unless you have a car. Jack in the Box and Walgreens are about a 10-15 minute walk, but the area seems sketchy. I only went during the day. I really miss the strip shuttle that was discontinued during COVID and never brought back. It would go to the strip every hour as well as the Gold Coast, another Boyd property that was walking distance from the Rio and Palm. I would give the property 5 stars if it was reinstated. If you have a car and don't need a shuttle, then this is an excellent choice since the gambling minimums are lower and the odds are better than the strip. There is also a bowling alley and an arcade, plus live entertainment on the weekends.

Quiet location within 10 drive/ride to strip. Downside. Toiletveould run off/on. Light between beds didn’t work. No closet to hang clothes. The hangers are located in the bathroom. Advised hotel after first night about toilet & light. Advised it would be addressed and never was.

On The evening of Sept. 17th Appoximately 11pm I asked a manger in charge by the roulette gaming area for assistance on a player card . Totally blow me off , he does not care about customer service . To describe him- tall , causasian male , balding hair , grey suit . Just awful .
