The hotel was beautifully appointed with antique furnishings. The museum was very educational and I am glad we took the time to explore it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. My only critique would be that the bed was so uncomfortable that our first night of vacation provided very little sleep.

The room is small but clean. The hotel is centrally located and you can walk around the historic district. And there is a small museum in the hotel.

Lovely historic hotel in a charming historic town. the room, although small,is perfectly outfitted for a short stay including a small refrigerator and a closet big enough to hang clothing. Everything was clean. The hotel was not full, so it was extremely quiet. The only two observations were this: the person checking us in in the afternoon was not warm or welcoming although she was competent. Don't ask any questions and you are fine. The restaurant appears to be closed even though it was posted as being open. Might be seasonal, but never found out why. There are many other options for good dining in this town.

Really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a cool town. If you want to relax slow pace. Only issues stores and restaurants close early. The hotel has a bar downstairs and locals come in and perform It was fun.
