After signing a no smoking in the room agreement, we went to the first room offered which smelled like a bar. Back to the office and went to another room that also smelled of smoke, just not as recently smoked in. In general the room we were in is run down. There were burns in the carpet, the calking around the tub was falling apart, the bathroom door wouldn’t open all the way and was falling apart. AND, they had ash trays in the “no smoking” room! unfortunately i had to report 2 issue about the bed covers and broken ironing board. i forgot to mention that when i push the a/c heater unit off the keeps blowing the air. it works good when i hit a/c it just doesn't shut off properly. had to unplug it.

First room was dirty so I asked to be moved, and got into a cleaner room. Towels, sheets, and blankets were stained, carpet had stains, crusty spots and toilet was stained. The first room was worse with broken lighting, and neither room had a working phone. It’s a cute place, but needs some money and love. The hostess at the front desk was amazing and very accommodating, switching our room immediately. The location is also great.

My bed topper had blood stains on it, and it looked like they were trying to get it out with bleach. Because there was bleach stains around the blood stains. When I pulled off the bed topper, the next bedsheet looked like it had pee stains. We called to have tie them changed but no one never showed up to change them. The toilet kept clogging every time you flushed using tissue. The shower water would not drain. The train is loud when it goes by. The bedsheet did not smell good. The towels were rough, yellow and stunk. There is MORE!!! It was a horrible stay.

This is the worst experience I have had with a hotel/motel!! We paid for a Suite,1 King Bed, Non Smoking (Upgrade). We had a family emergency so we booked this place on the way to town. We arrived around midnight very tired and emotional. We went strait to bed and woke up a few hrs later. We tried to shower but ended up so disgusted with the tub and the toilet in the bathroom. There is yellow splatter all over the tub. The shower head is held on with black tap. The carpet was stained and torn. The couch cushions were torn, stained, and smashed in. I moved the cushions and found trash all inside the pull out bed. The king size bed has stains all over the sheets. The furniture is worn and cracked. On top of all of that the AC is so old it barley blows and the room was hot. Them being a participating property within the Choice Hotels International portfolio, they are supposed to be held to a certain standard. They refused to give us a refund but after sending everything to Expedia they gave us full credit for us to stay at another place. hope you read this before staying here. Save yourself a headache

It's a decent place, but we had to ask for towels and even then they mentioned there was not enough wash cloths. Only half our room was cleaned. Other than that not too bad a place. Owners are nice and easy to work with.
