High above the vineyards, on a wooded hillside: a cozy apartment with a breathtaking view

With a magnificent view overlooking the Roussillon plain, the beautifully situated apartment, "Belle Vue" features two bedrooms—one of which can also be used as a home office or TV room—a living room with a balcony and a breathtaking view of the mountains all the way to the usually snow-capped Canigou, and a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. From the partially covered outdoor terrace, you can also enjoy sweeping views down into the valley and out toward the snow-capped mountains.

Just a 5-minute walk away, you’ll find the large, well-maintained private swimming pool (open from early June through late September) and the tennis court, both of which belong to the homes at the Domaine des Alberes—they’re very well-maintained and never overcrowded. A small house with a ping-pong table is also available for use. Still, it’s not far to the lively beaches of Argelès. But it’s lovely to be able to swap the bustling activity of the coastal towns in the evening for the peaceful sunset over the mountains—with a glass of wine on the terrace—as it bathes the lowlands before you in shifting colors.
