The room was filthy, stains on the carpet and couch. Crumbs on the floor. Panel had fallen off the wall exposing electrical wires. Breakfast was underwhelming. They do the bare minimum here and I would not recommend staying here.

Partially Updated, Pricy, and Lacking Quiet

A mixed stay at a renovated older property. The positives: The hotel appears to be a nicely updated 1980s-era building, and the lobby and indoor courtyard have a charming, unique look and feel. The downsides: Poor soundproofing: Conversations from the adjacent room were clearly audible, making it difficult to relax. Inconsistent renovations: While some areas were updated, the phone in the room appeared to be original. A TV was mounted on the wall, but the cable was poorly installed and stapled haphazardly along the wall. Allergenic environment: I experienced a significant allergic reaction to something in the room, which I suspect may be related to the pet-friendly policy. Noise and price: The overall noise level made it hard to get a quiet night's sleep, and the stay was very expensive for the quality of the experience provided.

Do they do it unless you have to

This hotel is old and needs some TLC. The room hadn’t been properly cleaned ie rice in the couch, stains on the carpet & couch, hair in the tub, hair and food particles in the fridge. They did have plenty of easy parking and it was close to the freeway and restaurants.

The staff was the best part of our stay. They were helpful and very friendly and knowledgeable. It’s really unfortunate that the property was old, our room smelled of smoke and it was dirty (there were stains going down the walls in our room) and the wall paper was peeling off the walls. We were given ripped bedding for the sofa bed. Overall, the quality of this hotel is poor and is in of a huge renovation.

The last time I stayed here was in 2021. It wasn't horrible but it needed some work. This time it was worse. First, there was a Big stain in front of the door. Then when entering the room it had a foul smell. The bathroom had mold in the shower and the room didn't look clean. Last time they had a cook in the back cooking fresh breakfast. This time was unacceptable. Food sitting in warmers but not warming up. They served tator tots for breakfast and opened juice and milk in pitchers to drink from. Very disappointed I will no longer stay at this property again. This hotel needs a major update in the rooms. Also do better with the breakfast.

Odd that Conditioner and Lotion were provided, but no shampoo. Odd that only one bar of soap was provided, given that the wash sink and bath were not in the same room. Blanket was worn (like much of the facility, it had seen better days). Received news during the 2nd day of my stay that a sister had chosen to be taken off of life support and I wanted to rush out to be with her. Though a good 30 hours before the start of my 3rd day, I asked if I could get a refund on the final day and was told "No. The hotel has a strict policy about that." (given this policy, I ended up sticking around until 10pm on my final day).

So, my 17 year old son came into town and I wanted to get a hotel room that was close to different restaurants, stores, etc so that he would have a variety of things to choose from. He was sooooooo happy!!!!! I took him to horrocks for the first time and bought him some macaroons, he had never had them before, I mean he was in a happy place so I was super happy!!!!! Y’all just might be my go to hotel whenever he comes in town ☺️
