The last time I stayed here was in 2021. It wasn't horrible but it needed some work. This time it was worse. First, there was a Big stain in front of the door. Then when entering the room it had a foul smell. The bathroom had mold in the shower and the room didn't look clean. Last time they had a cook in the back cooking fresh breakfast. This time was unacceptable. Food sitting in warmers but not warming up. They served tator tots for breakfast and opened juice and milk in pitchers to drink from. Very disappointed I will no longer stay at this property again. This hotel needs a major update in the rooms. Also do better with the breakfast.

Odd that Conditioner and Lotion were provided, but no shampoo. Odd that only one bar of soap was provided, given that the wash sink and bath were not in the same room. Blanket was worn (like much of the facility, it had seen better days). Received news during the 2nd day of my stay that a sister had chosen to be taken off of life support and I wanted to rush out to be with her. Though a good 30 hours before the start of my 3rd day, I asked if I could get a refund on the final day and was told "No. The hotel has a strict policy about that." (given this policy, I ended up sticking around until 10pm on my final day).

So, my 17 year old son came into town and I wanted to get a hotel room that was close to different restaurants, stores, etc so that he would have a variety of things to choose from. He was sooooooo happy!!!!! I took him to horrocks for the first time and bought him some macaroons, he had never had them before, I mean he was in a happy place so I was super happy!!!!! Y’all just might be my go to hotel whenever he comes in town ☺️

Would be nice to get a service in the room when you ask for one. When I checked in I asked what was their service schedule. She replied, everyday if you want. I said sure. None first day and it took two more days after requesting it each morning at front desk. I stayed there for almost a month end of 2024 and it was the same. Desk lady got kind of nasty when I told her I wasnt happy.

The front agent was pleasant even tries to make sure we had a room next to our family but upon entering the room it did not appear clean it gave the feeling someone may have been in the room there were stains on the couch and a wash cloth laying on the counter that appeared to be used the room just didn’t give clean. When I brought my concerns to the front desk they quickly mad the situation right I was very pleased

Decent stay option for West Lansing area

The staff is great and the location is super convenient (close to highway and main streets going through Lansing) The hotel is in fair shape. Lots of dining options and shopping nearby.

This no nonsense property w a decent breakfast included probably has some better rooms than the one I stayed in where no lights on one wall worked, the commode barely flushed and the shower showed signs of severe water damage and deterioration. The staff was polite, the room was comfortable even though pretty dusky. It was too late and I was too tired to ask to change rooms but I’m guessing they would have made that happen.
