We called prior to the football game asking if it was ok for a late check-in, for the game didn’t start until 7pm. We were assured it would be fine, that there would be staff at the front desk 24/7. Upon arrival, we were told that the shift, prior to the current, gave our 2 queen beds to someone else, switching us to 2 twin beds. We paid upfront for 4 adults. They apologized and said they thought we only had 2 adults and the prior shift reported that they were balanced. Assuming, everyone has a bed for the hotel. The staff on hand did manage to find us a room 10 minutes away and paid for it, but it completely ruined our plans and we were extremely disappointed.
