Full access to both the main house & casita. Only registered guests permitted unless pre-approved.

Located in the tranquil community of Landers, Escondite offers total peace while remaining minutes from the desert’s most iconic culinary and healing destinations.

Getting Around:

Many roads in the high desert are dirt, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.



Other Things to Note:

◎ POOL AND HOT TUB HEATING:

The hot tub is always free to heat.



If you want the pool heated during these months, please let us know 48 hours before you arrive.

◎ Hot tub: Always included

◎ Pool: Extra Charges for Pool Heating:

✓ May and Sept: $150 per night

✓ October and April: $200 per night

✓ November, December, March: $300 per night

✓ January and February: $300 per night

► ► 48 hrs’ notice required for heating requests



No jumping, diving, running or rough play near the pool and hot tub area. No glass can be around the pool and hot tub, there are plastic cups in the kitchen to be used outside. Please mind the quiet hours (no loud noises after 10pm). No intoxicated persons may use the pool or hot tub. NO LIFEGUARD WILL BE ON DUTY - YOU SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.



◎ EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.



◎ DOGS: Your dog is welcome and there is a one time fee of $100. Please alert us in advance.



◎ SOCIAL MEDIA: If you plan on sharing your experience on social media, please mention us!



◎ CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling wifi calling or downloading a VOIP program.



◎ ROAD CONDITIONS: Many roads are dirt, so please take it slow. A four wheel drive car is not required, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain



◎ CAMERA: One ring camera pointed towards the gate and driveway so we can audit who is coming and going from the property.
