Very spacious, warm and clean room, but disappointed to be given an accessible annex room rather than main building, especially as the place was far from full. Great breakfast, advertised as continental, but bacon and sausage to make butties was a good addition to the continental expectation, and a great coffee machine too. Made very welcome by the locals in the car and would stay again.

Enjoyed the large room and dinner at the pub was excellent. We only stayed here one night on our journey and wished we could have extended.

Room not particularly clean. No mattress protector. Needed a hoover. Hotel was closed when we arrived at 2.00pm. Checked in at 4.00pm and booked dinner for 7.30. Arrived downstairs for dinner at 7.30 and were told there were no main courses left. Nowhere else to eat in the village and no takeways in the area. We didn't attempt the continental breakfast and left early. No-one around for checkout. Staff seemed young and unprofessional. Would certainly never go back.

Horrible....I regret booking itanf I very rarely regret booking a hotel! We booked it and while on our way the host called me to ask when will arrive. I said we will arrive late around 11.30. I asked him to leave us the keys if he wants to go. He no that's fine, he will wait for us. I arrived exactly 11.30. There was noone there.. we knocked we called, even met one of the guests who said that the host has keft ling time ago. What is this?! Horrific

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel,the room was a decent size,clean and well furnished,the free buffet breakfast which is mainly continental did include bacon and sausages and was plentiful The staff were excellent.There are plenty of parking places,and the hotel is dog friendly The choice of beers was really good ,and food appetising although not many choices on the menu Clapham is a lovely village,and is a good base to visit many scenic areas of the Dales We will be making a return visit to the New Inn next year

Lovely stay in a great location

Our room was a good size with a big bathroom and a comfy bed. The staff were super friendly and the bar and restaurant were nice, with great food. Had a lovely stay and plan on going back.

A disappointing stay.

We had a disappointing stay at OYO New Inn recently. We had booked the 2 family rooms and told these would be suitable for 4 adults (I had spoken to management multiple times before booking who confirmed this). Upon check-in we were told the rooms were only for 2 adults and 2 children and the beds weren't suitable for adults. There was no apology just confrontation and abruptness. We were then 'allowed' to stay in the family rooms and these were very disappointing. The rooms were unclean, one of the rooms had the soap open and litter in the rooms. The surfaces were also dirty. Not to mention the main light in one of the bedrooms and along the corridor wasnt working. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. We removed the mattress from the top bunk to sleep on the floor and there were no springs in the mattress, it was comfier sleeping on the hard floor. The noise was something else, loud music and noise from the bar below which seemed to go on until early hours! It was an overall disappointing experience and I wouldnt stay again. The location and surrounding area was lovely and very handy for the Yorkshire Three Peaks, which is what we did the following day, just a shame we set off after a terrible sleep/stay.

This was a great place to stay to be able to walk into the Dales. It was a beautiful setting and very good parking. The restaurant was very nice and reasonably priced with fantastic staff! Shower was excellent especially after a damp walk into the hills! Would definitely stay here again. Note, while there is not an electric car charging port, there is one very close by.

We would stay in this hotel again. Good location for some excellent local walks. Good parking, nice bar, continental breakfast very good, liked the bacon sandwich! Quiet village setting.

Stayed here 2 nights as we were doing the Macmillan mighty hike in Malham. Hotel was great, good selection of beers, food was fantastic ( proper pub grub), staff were friendly and helpful, clean rooms.
