The heat did not work well. We could not get the temp above 68 degrees. The room was nice and staff was courteous. My biggest complaint was that when we went for the breakfast buffet they wanted paid before entering and eating......this is not a fast food situation and is unheard of. I walked out without playing that game and will probably not go back to this location.

The kids had a blast! They loved the pool! We did notice a few stains on the bed frame that kind of grossed me out. Room seemed pretty clean but could have been better. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant. We will be back because the kids pool really is worth it!

Great hotel conveniently located in Lancaster with plenty of amenities. Overall our stay was great and the staff was friendly. Hotel was clean and restaurant was good. The pool/mini indoor water park and game room are great for the kids. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because I compare it to what it was when it was Willow Valley resort. It's great for what it is now, but it lost a lot of the local authentic charm of the original Willow Valley resort. Some of what was removed includes the gift shops, bakery, hot tub + sauna, and most notably the smorgasbord restaurants. If I could offer any suggestions for improvement, it would be to infuse some of the local culture into the hotel. It will never be what it was, and it would probably not be financially viable to have a full smorgasbord style restaurant onsite. However, adding some Pennsylvania Dutch inspired entree options to the restaurant menu would make it feel less generic.

The staff, from check in to check out, were helpful and patient and provided information and assistance. The Bistro staff were also wonderful and ready to help and provided anything we needed. The woman making the omelettes would ask afterwards, "How was it?" That was so nice how much she cared to please us. Everything was clean and comfortable.

The room had sliding doors that opened to the wedding in progress. It was disconcerting knowing a full party was raging on the other side of the glass. We felt closed in and the music was extremely loud until 10:00pm. The mattress was hard and had a weird lump down the whole side that wouldn't move. Overpriced and underwhelming
