Was at a Golden Wedding celebration the room we were give was very spacious with a huge comfortable bed and views of the river Clyde. There was a shower in the bath which was fine and plenty of towels and toiletries to Use. The the service and food at the celebration was excellent as was the breakfast. We didn’t use the pool but it did look popular. All in all we had a lovely stay in This hotel and would definitely return

What a find, love the history, amazing walks. Hotel room is a good size overlooking the Clyde Falls, staff were very professional and helpful, food was excellent, great quality. Great stay! Will definitely return.

Overnight stay

We had an overnight stay for a party night. Reception staff were very efficient and accommodating. We had a lovely evening, with the staff service for meals/drinks being good. We were given a disabled room for our stay. It was a bit unexpected. After the initial shock, we accepted it as it gave us more room, with not much of a difference, apart from the bathroom/ shower room. Breakfast was fine, pleasant staff serving, but service was a bit on the slow side
