Would have given 5 stars, but the restaurant inside is way too expensive for the quality of food you receive. This is my 2nd or 3rd time staying here, it really is a nice place and I'll stay here again. The rooms are very clean and freshly updated. I'm not a fan of the "barn door" style bathroom doors that hotels are going to

it was my son's 13th birthday and we were going to the hotel to use the beautiful pool area but when we got to the hotel and we're checking in the guy told us that the pool was under repair and was closed and so we were very disappointed and decided that we probably wouldn't just cancel the reservation and go to a hotel where we can use the pool as I was in my car trying to cancel the reservation the guy actually walked all the way out to my car to tell me he talked to the general manager and that the pool was okay to use and that they would be very kindly to open it and let us go ahead and enjoy our evening .I'm not sure the guy's name I think it was Thomas but he went above and beyond anything he had to do and made us feel right at home I would recommend this place to anyone they're awesome !the only thing I must say is the bathroom is extremely small and I'm a little claustrophobic and I don't like that but other than that everything else was great

We arrived late so the restaurant was closed. Our room was on the second floor and there was no elevator but there was a wide staircase to walk up. Our room was beautiful. It seemed to have been recently renovated. Two TVs, a small kitchenette area with sink, and a walk-out to the indoor balcony area above the bar and pool. We quickly went to bed and immediately were frustrated with all the "light noise." Between the AC unit, TVs, microwave, and fancy mirror on the wall, there were numerous lights. Additionally, the curtains didn't cover the light coming in the balcony window, and the main door didn't reach to the floor so light came in from those areas as well. It was extremely distracting. The mirror was the worst with multiple bright blue buttons. It was positioned near another mirror so at night it appeared like there were 6 bright blue lights. I really don't believe people ever spend the night in their own hotels. The bathroom looked gorgeous but had some weird quirks.... The sink area had no counter space - only big enough for the sink. The towels were huge and fluffy, which was lovely! But there were only 2 of them. Standard would be 4 towels, even in a room with 2 people. The shower was designed with a built-in bench seat on one end, but it appeared to have no drainage so the water just pooled on top of it. The floor in the shower felt like it hadn't been properly grouted; my husband and I agreed that it hurt our feet. Breakfast was stellar, better than most!

We didn’t get to stay, we had a medical emergency. The man at the front desk, I’m terrible with names but I want to say Thomas I hope that’s correct. He has the absolute best customer service I have ever seen at a hotel, I appreciated everything he did to help us and just be kind. Hard to find these days, please make sure he is recognized in some way.

There were beetles and pill bugs all over the room. I kept finding beetles crawling on the walls and out from under the bed. I was not aware that our room would be open to the outside. There was no extra pad lock, just the door lock. I did not feel especially safe. Overall, the place felt rundown. Pay the extra few dollars and stay at the Cobblestone next door!
