PET DOGS
I love dogs but have had our struggles with this We've also had many positive experiences in our other lodging facilities. What's most important is that your pet not be locked up all day. We recommend a travel pen or cage if you must leave them for any time. However, you know your dog and are responsible for any damages and all indoor and outdoor cleanup. Please don't let shedding dogs lay on our bedding. I allow up to 2 dogs. There's plenty of room here to walk your dog. There's a nearby beaver dam you can take walks to, fields and woods, and we have direct access to the O&W Rail Trail. There are also many other places to hike/waIlk with a short drive. One really nice dog walk is at nearby Belmont Lake, which is PA Fish and Boat Commission owned, has a nice trail to the flood control dam at the outlet. Up at the Restaurant, we have an outddor dining pavilion that we regularly have customers with dogs visit.

PEACE AND QUIET
I live here when guests aren't renting it. It's remarkable how secluded it is to sit out on the covered porch deck. If you just want a place to escape to, get out of the City, you will get to experience silence, minimal light pollution, and the relaxation you may achieve from reading a good book.
