Cabin 2 — Queen Cabin with Sofa Bed and Screened Porch

Hidden Rest Cabin 2 combines rustic mountain charm with flexible sleeping space, making it a comfortable option for a couple, small family, or traveling friends. The cabin features one queen bed and a sofa bed, all surrounded by warm wood-paneled walls and windows looking out toward the pines.

The open studio-style interior includes a comfortable sleeping and sitting area, television, ceiling fan, dining space, and a practical kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink, coffee maker, and basic meal-preparation space. One of Cabin 2’s most appealing features is its screened porch—a pleasant place to enjoy morning coffee, breathe in the mountain air, or relax at the end of an active day.

The private bathroom includes a shower. The cabin’s compact layout keeps everything conveniently within reach while preserving the classic, relaxed character of a traditional White Mountains cabin.

Cabin 2 does not have a fireplace or private hot tub. Guests have access to the shared hot tub located behind Cabin 12 inside the pergola. Use of the shared hot tub is subject to property rules, posted hours, weather, maintenance, and availability.

From Hidden Rest, guests can enjoy the attractions of Show Low, Lakeside, and Pinetop. Plan a day of hiking, fishing, boating, wildlife watching, or sightseeing. Popular area experiences include Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area, Woodland Lake Park, Rainbow Lake, the White Mountain Nature Center, local restaurants, antique stores, boutiques, and seasonal community events. Sunrise Park Resort and other mountain recreation areas make enjoyable day trips when seasonal conditions permit.

A $95 cleaning fee applies to each stay.

A $50 pet fee covers up to two pets per stay. If you have more than two pets, please message us before booking so we can accommodate your stay properly.

For birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons, and other special occasions, contact us at least 72 hours before arrival. We may be able to prepare a personalized setup with items such as flowers, balloons, chocolates, cake, sparkling cider, or special décor. Additional charges and availability may apply.
