The Pirate's Cove!

Some of my friends call it a pirate hideout and others call it a fortress, but really- it's just a nice place not far from anything you'd like to do! Beach? Disney? About an hour away. Amazing hiking trails full of wildlife and adventure? Twenty minutes! Want to go to karaoke with me or go have a few drinks at some local dive bars? Come on! Maybe watch a movie on the projector out back. The casino is about thirty minutes away and Sun and Fun is just around the corner!

DISCLOSURE: One of the bedrooms is in the study and has a very nice, upscale air-mattress that is lifted up off of the floor. The hot tub (propane) is not included in the price but is available by request. The jets and such still work but the propane is extra and prorated.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, which features a private pool and a Smart TV. There's a private patio. Tropical vibes with with an ambience of adventure made this a great choice for our extended family. Very well placed with respect to restaurants and getting around town. We loved the furnishings and decor, the layout, and the pool/deck area was second to none. Beds were comfy, even the air mattress, kitchen was well appointed, and everything was clean. Would definitely stay again and would 100% recommend.

Pirate's cove VRBO

The property was nice. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms clean. Kitchen had amenities and there was a good dishwasher and laundry set.The hot tub wasn't functioning upon arrival but was repaired by host a couple of days in. The house is adequately set back from the road but emergency services uses the road frequently. Host was great to work with.

Great looking property

Rented the place for my daughter, bridesmaids and myself for the day prior to the big day and then the day after for the bride a groom for a place to stay. The house looked amazing and was very clean and as described. There was an issue with the hot tub not being available, but the homeowner tried to remedy this, but it was beyond his control.

Had a fantastic time at the Pirates Cove and it was perfect for a group of golfers looking to relax after a long day on the links. Excellent location close to downtown and rt 4 and the extended patio and outdoor grill is a nice touch. Will stay here again.

Comfortable and unique home central to Lakeland

Hank is a great host (captain) of the pirate cove. His house is one of the most uniquely decorated and comfortable spots I’ve stayed in. Highly recommmend.

Girls Weekend

This house was everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool area and the location was great for my friends coming both from Lakeland and Tampa. Hank was very nice. He gave me his cell phone number to call him if we needed anything and we thought that was very nice of him.
