The Hico hotel is what you would expect for a $60 a night hotel. No bugs. Bed was comfortable. Hot water for a shower. Reasonably clean. The furniture was run down. The heat was ok. Overall the stay was ok.

Nice enough for a one 0r two night stay. Still uses the old--fashioned metal key rather than electronic, so you have to make sure to physically lock the door. There are no handicap accessible rooms, and the toilets are undersized and hard to use if you have mobility issues. I could manage, but with some difficulty. It should be no issue for someone without mobility issues.

This is a small town motel with just regular rooms…nothing fancy. The ppl at the desk are very friendly and are ready to serve even late at night. The rooms have fridges and the showers are good. They are older beds and it’s an older place but well up-kept. I’d would definitely stay here again.
