Reading the reviews, we were a bit worried that the property would be lacking, however, we were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful and spacious room, a varied and generous breakfast buffet, and a lovely environment overall. We would definitely stay here again!

The staff were very helpful with booking tours and transportation! The rooms were clean and nice, and it was a fine place for a hot shower and comfy bed. Breakfast was small but was still nice to have to start off the day, and the hours were good for early morning departures.

While my check-in at Kaaro Hotel was smooth, the rest of my stay was disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel for two main reasons: Water Issues: The hotel controls hot water access to the rooms. I was unable to get a hot shower after a long day, and more frustratingly, there was neither hot nor cold water available for my early morning excursion. Safety Concerns: My room key did not lock properly. Despite reporting this to the front desk and requesting a fix, the issue was completely ignored. Due to the lack of basic utilities and poor attention to guest safety, I will not be returning.

Great stay!!

This hotel was used briefly for a shower and nap after a uros island tour. The hotel was wonderful! The woman at the desk was very helpful and arranged a taxi for us also. The room was clean and the shower was hot. They had coca tea and coffee available as well! I highly recommend this hotel!

This is a lovely Hotel. It is in a great location not far from the main square. It has everything you need including nice little extras like tea and coffee making facilities. The staff are wonderful, polite, efficient, friendly and professional. The breakfast even starts at 06:00 for those with early starts. I would like to thank all the staff at this hotel for the excellent. Highly recommended.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was within walking distance of many restaurants. The breakfast was good quality. I had hot water both days when I showered. There is no heat which is typical of hotels in Peru. The hotel did provide a really thick extra blanket.

Clean, comfortable room. Bathroom is quite small but everything else is good. Decent breakfast. Staff is polite and professional. They allow you to store your luggage and wait in the lounge area if you have a late night bus to catch. Overall a good budget hotel choice in Puno.

The hotel was a great base for a few days in Puno! It was very centrally located and easy to walk to the central plaza. The room was spacious and served all our needs for our trip. The breakfast was also nice and included bread, jam, fresh fruit, coffee, and a wide variety of teas. The real winner, however, was the customer service! We happened to have a ton of questions about the area and a few hotel requests, and the front desk thoughtfully and kindly took care of everything. They were also very helpful with booking our tour of Lake Titicaca. We would definitely stay here again, especially for the price.
