The staff was very kind and friendly. The hotel is…. vintage. You cannot beat the location across from the beach and Gar Woods. The sunset from the room was incredible. If you need fancy, go somewhere else.

Had our dog and choices are slim in North Lake area. I didn't expect much but was disappointed we couldn't connect to internet, no coffee maker, and it was a bit dirty. The room was spacious and beds good-sheets smelled nice and clean. Location great- across the street from dog park on the Lake!

Although a bit “rustic” inside and out, not a bad place to stay for the price. Best: Refurbished bathroom & very clean room. Note: had a kitchen and coffee maker, but you need to bring your own coffee. Fridge was not plugged in so lost its use for 1 day. No A/C but the nights were cool and were never hot, even when the days were. Could be noisy during the day but very quiet at night - little to no traffic. Big plus - is it’s across the street from a nice beach area with facilities and restaurants and a convenience store are within 5 min walk. I would stay here again.

This motel was in a very beautiful area overlooking the lake. The room had a small kitchenette with dishes included. Don't let it's vintage appearance fool you, it was very comfortable and warm. The walls are thin so if you get noisy neighbors it would probably not be as serene but we had very quiet neighbors. The check-in and out was a breeze. We had a very nice time and will definitely stay here again. The rooms could have used a bit more cleaning but it wasn't filthy. Thank you for having us!

Will definitely be back. Our room was very spacious and had a fully equipped kitchen. The price accurately reflects what you get but was very clean and no complaints for the location. Walls were kind of thin but everyone seemed to be on the same schedule so was no issue.
