Great place to stay! I found a room last minute and it was pretty inexpensive and had great amenities. The ropes course connected to it is also an amazing experience for anyone wanting a fun family friendly adventure!

The Granlibakken Tahoe resort had more features than most resorts but without the extra resort fees. All the essentials of a hotel were provided. Staff was attentive to my needs. Recent remodel here give the property a fresh look and feel. Although there are no elevators and most buildings are split level you can park your car in front of most rooms and still have reasonable privacy and view from your room albeit with a few steps. We stayed in the summer and found it comfortable without AC.

We had a nice room and the hot tub and pool were the stars of our visit. We had 2 problems re the management, 1 was they send info for automatic check in but as we'd booked through Hotels they're systems don't work - that's fine as I like a personal check in, but why send the automated info? Also, our coffee machine was broken and I asked for a replacement, 1 hour later it arrived as we were checking out - when I phoned about the problem there was no offer of a coffee from their reception - a place as expensive as this should have better care & service for their customers
