Do not stay here!!!!! Our room had cockroaches!!! The hot tub was broken which was why we booked this hotel. The housekeeping people cleaned our room when we asked them not to, half the channels don't work on the tv and the k cups are practically exploding as if they're bad. This was absolutely horrible and my worst experience traveling ever.

Worth recommend

The hotel is right by the road. Although it's very convenient, the noise from the road at night still has some impact on rest. Although the hotel is not managed by anyone, everything is in good order. If there's a problem, the customer service will respond promptly.

This is a nice spot. Close to food, beach and grocery. The rooms are nice and if we needed anything it was just a text away. There is some road noise as this lodge is on the main street that goes around the lake. The lodge supplied two fans to cool the room. I would stay again.

PRO: Beautiful hotel. Great location. I felt safe. Free parking. Great steakhouse restaurant across the parking lot. Clean room. CON: Need to put a $100 deposit before we got our code. We got the code to our room 1.5 hours later after a reminder text. There’s no staff in the office, so we text if we need anything.

Room was adequate, although I managed to get one of only two rooms on the property without any balcony or patio, which is typical of my luck--not necessarily the property's fault. In a pretty nice area across from beach access. Comforter had quite a few stains. If I were in a pinch, I'd consider staying there again, but there are nicer places near the same price point.

Place is great! Will for sure stay again. Only bad thing, rooms dont have AC. Usually not needed but was a little warm. But perfect spot, clean, nice beds and customer service. Will be back.

This is a remote check in hotel. They assign you a room and door code an hour before check in. There was a small pool, no pool towels, that needed cleaning from the bugs. The hot tub was tiny and across the parking lot from the pool. I didn’t like not having any staff to address the issues. The text messages were responding quickly when the internet went out but it still doesn’t replace having someone there.

Overall we had a pretty good stay. We really like the area. The beach is right across the street and nice and quiet. There are three main things needed to make a hotel good. Clean, safe, good bed. The first two delivered…the bed however was too firm. My German friends would love it, not me nor my hubby. The showers had endless hot water. The ice machine had lovely ice like Sonic. The pool was waaaay too warm. It was like swimming in a hot spring. The check in was fairly easy. It was rather odd never seeing anyone in the lobby. A lobby employee gives one a sense of safely. However when I needed towels, it was addressed right away. Still the hotel is a bargain for all that you get in exchange.
