The service in this Hotel is the worst I ever stayed. I request 7 towels, they gave me 6, I had to go pick them up to the office, and I had to use a wet towel

The hallway and steps and area outside the hotel room smells like piss. Vomit and other things idk what they are. My room smelled of piss and vomit. My bed had hair in it and was dirty. The other bed was ok. Bathroom was dirty and old. Not enjoyable room for 180$

Honest review, start with positive -- felt safe. Area is near downtown and lits of wlakable restaurants / stores. Cons: Room does not look clean Room 271 -- AC took 6 hours to get down from 79 degrees to 70 and it was like 60 degrees outside (didnt feel safe opening the big window) Looks very rundown inside and outside Rate was steep for what it was $180?

We arrived at 8:30 pm and there was no one at the front desk. After waiting about 20 minutes, we decided to call the hotel number. The first person who answered didn’t seem to know much and just gave us another number to call. When we called, the second person told us that our room key was in a safe box. When we checked in, the room had a strange smell. I tried to take a shower, but the tub was dirty and the shower was broken. We called again, and they said someone would come to fix it. After waiting a while with no one showing up, I called again and requested a room change. Finally, someone came to help us. Thankfully, he was very kind and assisted us in switching rooms. I understand this is a budget hotel, but I was still surprised by the lack of staff and the poor condition of the place. Overall, I wouldn’t book here again unless it was a last-minute option and no other choices were available.

Good basic motel in the heart of Lake Tahoe area. Room is a little rough, but it is clean and there is lots of parking plus great staff. Also, you have discounts for beach entry if you stay here so it saves you a ton of money.

Booked for 3 nights, we basically just looked at property, everything was dirty, missing tiles on the floors, mold in the showers poop in the toilets just horrible. We turned around gave the keys back and told the person in charge that we where not staying there, and we explained why. Contracted Hotels.com and explained all this, they told me they would work with the property to get me a refund. So far no refund and no updates. Had to pay another $2100 to stay at a different hotel.

Pine Mountain House from HELL !

Big Pines is under new management from the last time we stayed there. The WIFI (Television reception) was very bad and inconsistant, the Pool was being renovated, hair dryer was broken, the safe was inoperable. The smoke detector was "metal strapped " to the wall ! It as a very bad experience, I would rate them 0/10 points.

Dont recommend this hotel at all

When we booked the room, we booled a 'King Suite with a kitchen". Upon arrival, we were told "that's on the bottom floor and if we wanted a top floor, it wasn't available. And, there'd be no price adjusted. The first room, they put us in, the shower wouldnt stop dripping, and there was water on the floor. The second room, the carpet felt 'sticky' and the bed had a HUGE dip in it. The manager, Ron said he couldnt switch out a matress until the next day. At this point its 1pm, and check in for other rooms was 3 hrs away. We booked elsewhere and now have to deal with insurance. Wont be going back.
