Very comfortable beds! Very roomy. Short drive to Lake Placid. One of best motels we have stayed at. Only complaint, and it's minor, no microwave in the room. Short walk to the office to use theirs.

The chair in the room was filthy . The bathroom light switch was connected to the fan which sounded like a jet engine every time you went into the bathroom. If you used the bathroom at night you woke up everyone due to the sound . The outlet with coffee pot was not working . Had to move it to another wall . Found bugs inside .

It was nice, except our freezer wouldn’t freeze our freezer pacs, And our fridge wasn’t keeping anything cold. Other than that we had an excellent time. We sat outside and visited and the staff was very friendly and helpful! Thank you! 😊

This is an older property like a lot of the small hotels in this area, so it is dated, but very well maintained, cleaned and has all that you need for an enjoyable stay. The location was fantastic. My only negative comment is the beds were horribly hard and uncomfortable. And unfortunately after long days of hiking you need a comfortable bed to sleep in. But balanced with the price, I would definitely stay here again and just bring a mattress topper with me.

I tried to cancel my reservation booked for the end of August 2025 due to my airline. Air Canada went on strike so I couldn’t go to Italy and stay at the hotel. I called the hotel and explained the circumstances and they refused to grant my cancellation and completely charged me the full amount for the room I felt that this is very poor With no understanding about things are out of your control. Very poor customer service.

Comfortable room. Beautiful setting Restaurant was good. Pool looked amazing but due to weather we didn’t get to use it. I would stay here again. Greeter was wonderful & very full of information. She helped us find location of local attractions.

We needed toilet paper there was no one around for our stay of 2 days . We borrowed some unopened paper from the person next door .. No tissues. There was soda bottles left on our dresser. It was a quiet stay and the grounds were nice . Pool was handy.
