We LOVE this place, it's our 3rd time staying! The staff is wonderful, helpful and hard-working. If you require a quiet room on a weekend night during the hockey season (Sept-April), well, just don't come to Lake Placid... Expect unsupervised, feral, hockey children afoot.

Everything is very modern and clean, a cool Nordic vibe throughout. Lovely full size bath products. All I would ask for is a boot mat for wet boots! I felt bad leaving melted snow in the floor.

Room was nice. Area is beautiful. Television service in room is aweful. Couldn’t connect to Netflix or anything. The only complaint was this. When we wanted to go back and watch a movie and snuggle up after dinner. The tv service was terrible

We’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times, and always enjoyed it. This time the hallways were full of rowdy teenagers in for a hockey tournament, which kept us awake late into the evening and woke us up at 5:30 AM. And most hotels of the price range one would’ve expected a credit for the evening, but instead we were given a $50 credit. We also had a significant credit from a prior cancellation, which you were told was “not available to us“. Evidently the hotel has a new owner. And one thing, which is small, but still annoyed us, was the fact that the beautiful first floor lounge, which has a beautiful view of mirror Lake, also has a wonderful wood stove that when burning really makes the room and also provides a great deal of warmth. Our second night there we were told that it was broken, but that it would be “fix the next day“. It wasn’t as I said, just a small thing, but one of those little details that be loved about staying here in the winter. And why no maid service every day? We will certainly try this Hotel again and hope that they’ve made the necessary improvements.

Lovely place, with a great view from our junior king suite. The common areas are beautifully decorated and laid out. My only criticism was the breakfast was pretty lame. The hotel was Lark brand when I made the reservation, and I was looking forward to their delicious breakfast, but it no longer a Lark so….

Staff was super nice. Rooms were very large and comfy! Great views of Mirror Lake. Be forewarned, there is a RESORT FEE (not sure why - it’s really just a hotel!). Also, no coffee in the room, although there is a Keurig in the lobby. Location is great to walk around Lake Placid or drive to Trailheads (Marcy,Algonquin, etc).

Très difficile d'apporter des modifications à un séjour même si l'on est dans les barème de l'établissement. Ils ne semble pas aimer Expedia. très bien situé. Le loby est magnifique et propre. La propreté dans les chambre, par contre, est sur la limite de l'acceptable (toile d'araignée, odeur). Le prix n'était pas cher alors c'est All good.
