It was their first week open since Covid. Overall this place is what you would expect from a country inn. Good breakfast. Nice spot on the river. Bed was a little soft for us, and traffic from the road was noisy at nite, bit otherwise the stay was nice.

We stayed here for 2 nights in the beautiful silver Maple suite in the back with windows that looked out on the beautiful greenery in the backyard – – we even saw deer grazing! Carrie is the adorable Manager who makes blueberry muffins to die for for breakfast. This house has so much character and history! It’s location is wonderful, only 20 minutes from Lake Placid!

What a truly great experience. Having been in Keene Valley in the same house 50 years ago, it was a pleasure to see it being cared for and run and such a beautiful way. Kelly, the manager, couldn’t have been More delightful. Preparing breakfast and always there for questions or advice on where to go out to dinner or tge next mountain to climb.. It was a perfect weekend and I’m looking forward to going back thank you Keene valley lodge.
