The star of the trip is of course the beautiful town of Lake Placid. However, I enjoyed my stay at Cambria. Very nice facility. A short walk to downtown but also within steps of great restaurants.

This hotel is clean, comfortable and very modern. The only thing that I found offensive was that they charge you $50.00 if you want to check in before 2:00pm (we did not). They did store our luggage for us for free. I would stay here again!

Fairly expensive but knowing the Lake Placid prices still a reasonable option. I stay in other hotels (50 % more expensive) many times and the Cambria is quite ok - fitness small but ok, pool very small, location ok (but of course you need a car).
