Perfect location!

Perfect location in the heart of Lake Placid. Motel-style rooms with excellent breakfast common area. Rooms are large and comfortable.

We were there three nights but never had our room straightened. No fresh towels, No linens, etc. Then we were asked to tip the cleaning crew? Maybe they just forgot we were there.

Breakfast was not the best. Everything was pre- packaged. For the price for the night, I am accustomed to a much better hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon and home fries. Please improve your breakfast.

This is a motor inn, so stairs to second floor rooms. It was a very nice stay. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and there was a big comfy recliner chair. Also small table for 2 with chairs. Big sliding glass doors opened to balcony with two chairs. Nice view of mountains in distance. There was some road noise when on balcony, but quiet when sliders closed. The lighting in room was excellent with recessed lights on dimmer switch in addition to lamps. Just coffee available for breakfast, but small fridge & microwave in room. Bathroom was larger than average & water pressure good. Would stay again.

This property is old with tiny rooms and a dirty pool. I asked to see the room before checking in and was told I wouldn’t be allowed into a room until I checked in. That was a deal breaker,. I asked the motel to cancel my booking, epevtingto be charged for one night. Now. They charged for the whole stay. Go elsewhere!

Staff was amazing. We asked for extra towels and had them in less than 5 minutes. Hotel is downtown near a lot of things to see and do. Hotel was owned by former Olympian Art Devlin and all his medals are at the hotel which was really cool.

We were able to get a room here last minute. Staff was friendly,roo. Was clean, other than stains on the carpet. The bed was entirely too soft though,o we tossed and turned most of the night. Also, even though we ran the AC all night, we couldn't seem to get the room cooled to a comfortable sleeping temperature.
