This was a lovely stay - the room was clean & the bed very comfortable, the hosts very responsive by text, and the location was convenient, quiet but just a 15 minute, gorgeous drive to Lake Placid. Very convenient to some great hiking trails!

Great location, close to whiteface mountain and 20mins either way to Lake Placid or Ausable Chasm. Staff was very helpful proving suggestions to visit Stag Brook falls and restaurant suggestions. Morning breakfast being included at this lodge was a plus to start off our morning without worrying about having the kids fed before starting our day.

My room was immaculate...clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. Shout out to the towels!!!! So plush and absorbent. The bed was comfy with lots of pillows. I also loved the Adirondack decor and chairs. The continental breakfast was fantastic and set up with a very homey feel. Thank you for a great stay.

Went to Spruce lodge on trip thru norther NY, Wilmington was very quiet in June. The Lodge is an excellent place to stay, incl. breakfast. Rooms either new or very well renovated.

Not sure if anyone works there as check in and check out were all done electronically.Continental breakfast was very good.Well maintained property-even if ghots were running it! Never knew who worked there but all in all a great place and we would make it our number one choice in the area.
