The owners did a fantastic job updating this property. The Mattresses and bedding were comfortable. The area is quaint and quiet. The check in was easy as we received our room number and door code via email/text. I was able to reach the front desk easily with questions and the staff was very helpful. The only drawback was that the walls were thin and we were disturbed by fighting neighbors.

The room had poor insulation. Very cold room. Front door lacked weather stripping. Noisy as walls are paper thin and our room was next to the highway. The hallway light stays on all night and no black out curtains. Motel is looking worn. Has room for improvement.

The beds are comfy and the room has good air conditioning/heating. The door has a lock that's easy accessible wirelessly via phone. The bathroom was clean but there was a noticeable smell of urine when we first used it. Parking can be tough especially during the night. Also I wasn't informed that they have a northside branch (where my room was assigned) which doesn't have the beachfront/lakeview. I initially thought all rooms are next to the beachfront as pictured. Although it can be still accessed and walkable from the northside branch. It would be good to accurately describe the access to the beachfront experience for future guest. Overall the experience was still good!

We really enjoyed our stay. The rates were reasonable, the accommodations were simple and clean, and the location within the Adirondacks and near the Hudson River were wonderful. We'd definitely stay there again.

It was a nice clean room with comfortable beds. The shower wasn't the best due to the location of the showerhead, but overall it was a great room. I would definitely stay again.

FALSE ADVERTISING: This property advertises "Motel Luzerne BEACHFRONT hotel in Lake Luzerne with free parking." NO WHERE does it tell the prospective renter, OR show in photos, that Northside rooms are NOT on the beach/lake. At NO POINT is there a disclosure on your reservation that your room is a Northside room and that the room YOU will be renting is NOT on the beach/lake. The beach/lake is a 500 ft. UNDISCLOSED walk from the Northside rooms. We spoke with other renters who had no idea their room was NOT on the beach/lake as well. Your view from the Northside rooms is a busy, noisy road VERY close to the property/rooms. The door to the room is NOT secure. The outdoor light is visible from inside the room through the door's side jamb that has the handle on it because of the wide gap between the door and the side jamb. VERY disappointed and angry OUR choice of where to use our hard earned money was taken away. Finding another place would be impossible with the annual Adirondack Nationals Car Show in Lake George that weekend in addition to the inability to afford it. We went away to destress and left with WAY more!

Really Great Spot

We loved our stay at the lakeview room! It was very clean and had everything my friend and I needed to be comfortable! The staff even went out of their way to accommodate us with a fan when asked :) The canoe, kayaks, SUP's and paddleboat are a very nice touch! There was a firepit and supplies for a nice evening fire as well! Great stay at a childhood favorite location~ Thank you!
