Welcome to the Black Bear Lodge located minutes from all that Lake Lure has to offer. Located in the private gated community of Riverbend at Lake Lure you'll find this cozy log cabin perfect for a couple or the entire family. There are two fully functional private lakes within the Riverbend community perfect for swimming, fishing, or canoeing. There are multiple hiking trails leading to picnic areas and the community waterfall. This spacious cabin has new stainless-steel appliances and all the thoughtful amenities you would want for home cooking, laundry, games, and even a karaoke machine! All the bedrooms have cozy linens and pillows for your comfort and enjoyment. There's a Black Stone grill on the rear porch and a fire pit in the back yard with plenty of chairs and cornhole as well! Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. Woof Woofs are welcome!

Black bear was very cozy and tidy. It was so nice to be able to escape for acouple days. The cabin had everything you needed and there were places to eat and a grocery store close by if you needed one. Very nice! Brad and Dana were easily accessible if you needed anything as well.

House was somewhat decent. Could have been cleaned better. Arrived to a broken bed & one of the bathrooms was out of order the whole trip. Contacted the host & someone was supposed to come out but never did. & Couldn’t get the host to respond anymore after sending our issues to them. Will not be coming back to this house.
