We stayed at this hotel for one night. The options in the area were very limited due to a car show happening. The hotel room was dated and smelled funk(pretty sure previous guests were smoking in our room). I didn’t feel it was dirty but I also wasn’t about to use the shower there either. The staff was very friendly and helpful but I wouldn’t stay there again if I had another option, especially given the price point.

We had a really nice stay at the hotel. Although the hotel is old, it is clean and has everything that you need for a great stay. The staff is really kind and helpful. The breakfast is decent and has several options for everyone.

Overall, my partner and I had a nice stay. The hotel is conveniently located to downtown Glens Falls as well as the Lake George area. The breakfast had all the essentials and was a great start in the morning, and while the hallways are rooms are a bit dated, everything was clean and the staff was great. Use caution, however, getting in/out of the bathtub as the handle was loose and the floor was slippery, and a few more hooks/towel holders would be helpful. Other than that though, everything else was great.

I'm surprised it got as many stars as it has. It's a pretty shabby place. The room was dirty, garbage BEHIND the garbage can in the bathroom, drawers that don't close, no safe, no real closet, terrible lighting. Does not seem like a safe place to stay.

Bad Experience

There was an unpleasant odor coming from the unventilated rooms. There was no air freshener, and the bathtub was filthy and appeared to have been used for a pet's bath. No room cleaning was provided during the three-day tour; instead, people were standing in front of the kitchen with their pets. Over $300 a night wasn't reasonable for that type of hotel. For a family vacation, I won't suggest it. The sofa bed was old and awful.
