Very nice rooms, nice breakfast, nice swimming pool. We stayed Saturday and Sunday nights, and the hotel is not cheap, so I was taken a little aback that there as no.maid service on Sunday - no new towels and such. We wanted coffee pods for the next morning, and that took us a while to hunt down. Other than that, a great base for exploring Fort Ticonderoga!

Overall, a little rough around the edges. However, they are clearly working on improvements. While we did not use them, the pool area looked clean and well-maintained, and the fitness center had new equipment and plenty of space. The room was clean but had older furnishings. The restaurant was short-staffed, and it took a long time to get our food. The server was fantastic, checking in on us and keeping our drinks full. You could only be angry at the situation, not the staff.

The workout room was better than average. Multiple machines, one was out of commission. Needs a weight rack. The breakfast room was often out of items, eg no fruit or yogurt. Worst issue was pool room equipment room malfunction made it hard to sleep one night.
