I was in a newly renovated room very close to beach. It was very clean. The to-go counter had really good food and excellent coffee. The staff was very kind and efficient. Love how close it is to whalers village. Would definitely stay there again.

Let me start by saying, the staff is wonderful. There are no elevators, which I heard many people complain about. It took 45 or more minutes to check in and there wasn’t a line. When you’ve been on a plane for many hours, then a taxi for an hour and you finely reach your destination but it takes a long time to check it’s rough. The room had 2 very small drawers, and again I was traveling with my family so we had to live out of our bag for the week, because there are no luggage racks. The sand from the beach is really fine and gets all over the room, and the room doesn’t have any hooks for wet swim suits.

vocation is excellent right on the beach. We paid for an upgraded ocean front room unfortunately it was on the first floor so it wasn’t great for whale watching and they couldn’t put us higher up because the rooms were filled so if you book an oceanfront room and you wanna wear a watch be sure to put that on your reservation to put you on an upper floor.

Our check in was good, they offered an upgrade on our room for $500 larger space so we took it. Arrived in the room and the room had a view of a large tree( no ocean view which we booked originally). This newly renovated room had no bathroom fan and a 2 inch gap at the bottom of the door, letting in light from the hall at night. There was a large tree directly outside the room with a spotlight that at night shined at the room. The pillows on this bed seemed as though they bought them at the dollar store (horrible, just a bunch of feathers in a bag). Two days into our stay the island lost power due to high winds(I do not blame the resort for this),we were without power for a full 24hrs. I did expect the resort to make good on the lost day without electricity which they didn’t. Overall I would not recommend this resort to anyone. The ocean views are obscured by a courtyard full of trees. The resort lacks a functioning restaurant.

Poor service at lobby, restaurant Maui Brewing Co - poor food quality, and overall facilities not well cleaned, power outage and yet charged resort fees when we couldn’t use the resort due to no power.

The rooms were roomy and clean. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is beach side which is nice. What stood out the most to the wife an I was during the lei ceremony. Auntie was so genuine and real, bless her soul.
