It was nice to stay at the upgraded Outrigger Ka’anapali beach resort. Its location is unmatched and rooms were comfortable and clean. We had an recently updated room which was nice but it had an ajoining door to another room so noise transference between rooms was very noticeable and difficult to deal with. Maui Brewing is the restaurant on site and it’s ok but nothing special. The couple of downsides are the pool is unheated so hard to use on weather inclement days and there is no hot tub. Also if you have a late flight out of Maui, they do not have a hospitality room or allow late checkouts because of being full. But overall we enjoyed our 2 week stay.

Great central location on Kaanapali Beach. Has more of a relaxed, authentic Hawaiian feel. Much quieter than the other resorts. Only suggestion would be for them to add couple of fire pits and maybe a hot tub.

Overall, the property is very nice and we really enjoyed our stay. The property is beautifully manicured and literally on the beach. The easy access to snorkeling at the black cliffs is great as well as quick walking distance to the Whaler shopping area. A couple of things are lacking including diverse food options (Maui brewing is great however), there are no bbqs on site and there is no hot tub. Not deal breakers but nice to haves for the cost of our stay. The missing star from a 5 is just comparing to other properties we visited which were head and shoulders nicer in terms of amenities, restaurants and overall newer.

We love this resort! This resort is very beautifully maintained and the staff is excellent. There were sizeable waves while we were here, but a very short walk down the beach to the Black Rock provided a lovely place to swim. We will be back, highly recommend❤️

Not alot to do there or food to enjoy. It said there was Pau Hana Pool Shack, and Hele On, which was to have had Breakfast to go, Lunch to go. There was no breakfast buffet. The only food option was Maui Brewing Company, that was very high priced. I know there was some remodeling going on, but we should have received a discount for not getting all the options.

Nice, clean updated room, property was spotless and great location. Only negative was the incredibly rude and irresponsible Heather at the concierge desk. Too bad she is there - everyone else was so pleasant. Would stay again but don’t book anything with the concierge- they only create problems.

Our stay at the Outrigger Ka’anapali Beach Resort was nothing short of exceptional. This is mainly due to the staff. From the wonderful employees at the daily breakfast who greeted us with warmth, to the incredible cultural team who welcomed us with open arms to introduce us to Hawaiian traditions. It was a privilege to take part in what this hotel has to offer. The location of the hotel is also perfect. Amazing views of the beach and only a few minutes away from Whaler’s Village where we spent every dinner. We will absolutely be back to enjoy another family vacation at this wonderful hotel! Mahalo!

Good but Brr!

Overall a good stay. Location is great. I hate getting nickel and dimed to death with “resort fees” that are not optional. Fees were high for things that should be included. Parking per day for a paying guest seems high also. The pool was not useable to swim in BECAUSE IT IS NOT HEATED!! Brr! It was like taking a polar plunge!
