Overall, it was a great experience. The rooms are dated and need some updates, but they are still amazing, with amazing views. The staff was great and very responsive when you needed anything.When I went to check out and get a luggage cart they do force you to use the bellman and you can't do it on your own so plan for that and just make a call instead of going all the way down to get it. The restaurant was great, but there weren't a ton of food options. One important note is that after hours, there's absolutely no way to get water, so bring your own water bottles.

Great resort in what I would call the middle class range. Suite decor and furnishings were dated and somewhat shabby looking. But beach, grounds, pools, restaurant and staff services were great. My big complaint: no daily trash removal from the rooms. I stayed three days, by the second night found a bug (I think a baby roach) on the kitchen counter. I’m thinking the open trash can under the sink attracted it. I wish they at least removed trash from the suite daily.

The pool area stood out because there were multiple pools, hot tubs, deep sections and shallow areas for children. While the beaches and nature of Hawaii are breathtaking, it was nice to come back and hang by the pool as it is open as late as 10 pm. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. There were also near daily activities available at the hotel. Right outside the hotel there are food trucks.

The staff were very helpful and were able to accommodate us for an early check in. We were very pleased with our room, and the grounds around the hotel are beautiful. I loved that it was right on the beach which ended up being a pretty good beach for us. We even saw 3 turtles while snorkeling there! The only thing we weren’t prepared for was how noisy the Myna birds were! They were squawking even in the middle of the night!

Dining options are walkable. Air shopping plaza with restaurants, food truck area, and onsite dining with great happy hour prices and options. The bar tender was sooo awesome and friendly. The pool is fun and so close to the beach. The room is so helpful for longer term stays which they supply washer/dryer with detergent and cleaning supplies for dishes. Great value for the price.

I had to wait for my room till 4pm with two little children traveling solo to Hawaii. I previously contacted the property asking to check in earlier because on PST our checking was 7pm and we left our home at 4am. This made our first day a total disaster with kids being overly tired. On top of that we got a room facing the back of the hotel and some horizon behind the condos below and roof tops. The balcony didn't have a security latch so my kids immediately tried to be on it leaving me no time to rest. I then asked to move us to a front ocean view room on a lower floor. The property has an old Hawaiian style. It's comfortable and clean but it won't be our choice again because I like newer style of amenities .
