Loved, loved, loved this place! We stayed as a family of seven (all adults) and had plenty of room, beds were comfortable, home was incredibly clean, pool was small but perfect to cool off or play some games, kitchen had everything we needed to eat at home, short walk to a beautiful beach and some shops/restaurants. We could have stayed another week easily! You need to bring your own beach towels, but all other linens are provided. Owners were friendly and responsive, just a perfect stay.

Great villa close to the beach

The villa is very well set up for families . Very clean and plenty of cooking and beach equipment . Only 10 mins walk to the beach but also has a great sized pool for kids.very attentive and responsive hosts

Lovely well equipped villa

Spacious house, really well equipped with lovely views of the cliffs. Pool was lovely, beds comfy and everything clean. Communication was great & Gavin was very helpful, including when we needed a doctor. Thanks for a great stay.

Loved the house in Praia da Luz

The proprty was as stated. Our group of 6 were all very happy with the property and location. Upon arrival we had a few small issues that needed to be addressed and the owner was there ver quickly to make everything right. Would definitely recommend.

The property we stayed at was a very central location, near all the bars and cafes, very easy to walk to shops and back. Had everything we needed, very spacious and clean, like being home from home. Had a lovely size pool. Towels were changed midweek and both owners were lovely.

Great location

A lovely villa in a great location. It was in a quiet cul-de-sac with a short stroll to the beach and all amenities. However would say the photos do not show the kitchen and that is a little tired. But overall had a great stay at Carpe Diem and communication with Gavin and Estelle was great

Enjoyable stay

The villa was more spacious and luxurious than we had anticipated and there was more than adequate space for six adults and a child. Facilities were by and large excellent but minor matters need attention such as replacement of damaged crockery and glassware and maintenance of a blocked dishwasher. Overall our stay was very enjoyable with the clean and well maintained pool and garden and the easy to use air conditioning being particularly welcome.

Perfect Villa Option

We had a lovely stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming. There was a lovely welcome basket for us and everything was immaculate. We were pleasantly surprised to see three bathrooms I had only recalled two in the advert and they were well fitted out. One is a walk in shower downstairs and the other two were baths with a shower attachment to the end of a bath. The only small downside was hot water in the shower took a very long time to come through and was sporadic. The pool was the perfect size and it was heated to a great temperature. There is just enough space around the pool for four sun loungers. An outside eating area in the shade was very welcomed. The house is very tricky to find if you arrive in the dark. It feels as if you are going into someone’s private drive but it does open up to a complex of several houses. We attempted to order a book to be delivered by Amazon but sadly they couldn’t find us. So recommend coming with everything you need. The location is very quiet and a short 5-10 mins walk to the beach. Highly recommend staying.

Sehr schöne Ferienvilla in toller Lage

Sehr geräumig und nett eingerichtet. Schöne Veranda und Pool im Garten. Gastgeber bei Fragen/Problemen sehr nett, responsive und bemüht. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Küche: war leider leicht schmuddelig. Kochbesteck müsste mal durchsortiert und z.T. ausgetauscht werden; Kochmmesser stumpf; Wetzstahl unbrauchbar.
