A tastefully furnished interior-designed two-bedroom luxury beach apartment located on Baia Da Luz 4 Star complex in Praia Da Luz, Algarve. Excellent elevated location in a quiet spot close to the main pool (heated all year) and tennis courts. Nearby golf courses.

We chose this property for its superb Praia da Luz location—shops, restaurants, and the beach are all within easy walking distance, perfect for a relaxed holiday. Nearby Lagos is a short drive or bus ride, offering a lively marina, great shopping, and rich history. The area also boasts excellent golf courses and stunning coastal walks along the UNESCO-protected shoreline. Well suited to families, couples, retirees, digital nomads. Temperate climate all year round.

The apartment is in a gated resort community and has a fully managed reception desk. A warm welcome by trained staff will provide you with card keys to access the apartment, swimming pools, tennis courts, restaurant and children's play area.

Reception opens 08.00 to 22.00 hours. The night security guard will provide out of hours access.

The apartment is in an elevated position on the first floor. Stairs from the secure entrance to the block or elevator access from the secure garage basement.

The well appointed apartment has two genereous size bedrooms. The master bedroom has a European king-size bed and ensuite luxury bathroom, and the second bedroom has twin single beds with a large luxury bathroom. Patio doors lead directly from each bedroom . The lounge and dining room have two sets of patio doors - accessing two further terraces. The kitchen is off the lounge/dining area and has a door directly to the front terrace for outside dining. The whole apartment is on one level.

International flights go to Faro and Lisbon.

From Lisbon airport - Two hours drive. Or Train to Lagos, then a short taxi or bus ride.

From Faro airport - One hour drive.

From Lagos - Ten minutes drive by car or taxi. Approximately 20 to 30 minutes by bus depending on the route.

Fantastic apartment just a 60 second walk from the complex pool and restaurant. Only a leisurely 10 min stroll to the beach area which includes a number of fantastic restaurants. Excellent communication with the Host Celia. Cannot recommend this accommodation enough.

Beautiful apartment

We stayed at the end of August it was our first trip to the Algarve, Portugal and have to say we were very impressed. The standard of accommodation is very high. It has everything you need, even a Nespresso coffee machine! The site has all you need, a lovely pool and walking distance to the beach and several cafe bars/ restaurants. Lagos just a 10 minute drive away which is a wonderful town to visit. Lots of great places to eat and a lovely marina with several boat trips on offer. Great spot for a holiday!

Beautiful Apartment in Praia da Luz

I can’t recommend this apartment enough. It is bright and spacious. It was perfect for myself, my husband and 2 children as it has 2 good sized bedrooms, a large sitting room with dining area and 3 lovely balconies. The location could not be better as it is only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and centre of town. There are 3 pools on the premises along with 2 tennis courts and a restaurant. The apartments are of a very high standard and have everything you need. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Excellent stay in Luz

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It has everything you could possibly need. The resort itself has a great pool, bar and restaurant, albeit the pool can get very busy. We enjoyed the location with easy access to everything, beach, restaurants etc. We appreciated the ritual bath products and the mid stay cleaning. The only thing I marked down was the check in as we didn’t get access to the apartment until after 5pm, despite requesting an early checkin. I appreciate this can’t always be facilitated but to be then left over an hour after the official checkin. This is unusual I’m sure.

Amazing !

What can I say that hadn’t been said already? The condo is wonderful and in a terrific setting. Luz is the best of the Algarve and the complex is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, grocery, etc. The unit itself is fabulous. Clean, modern, well equipped; check in was easy. I especially enjoyed sitting on the ‘back’ balcony with a beer enjoying the breeze. I hope I get back someday. Thank you to the host!

Great spot and lots of decks!

A very clean condo with lots of room and amenities. There was daily service which was a nice surprise! I did think it was weird to have the white leather furniture covered with signs to keep it like that. The condo would look so much better without the covers over the furniture. We just avoided using the living room and sat in the decks instead. We'd still stay here again though!

Perfect location and great balconies

Located in a complex with access to pools, an Italian restaurant, garage parking and a 5- minute walk to the beach! The apartment was perfect for our family of 4. We visited in late March, and one of the outdoor pools was heated (unusual). There is ready walking access to the little village of Luz and 2 grocery stores within 5 minute drive. The reception desk staff is very helpful and friendly.

Lovely apartment within easy access of the beach and the town centre

The apartment is a good size and we particularly liked the 3 balconies which could be used at different times of day depending on the sun location. It had every amenity you would need for your stay and was very comfortable. The pool area is excellent with a separate pool for adults and a pool bar. The location is also excellent with easy access both to the beach and the town centre. We would certainly stay here again if we come back to the area.

Brilliant Place to stay and definitely one I'll be returning to

The property is firstly very easy to find and in a great location. We rented a car, but the beach and local shops are all within walking distance. Due to a delayed flight we ended up getting some take away pizza from the onsite restaurant. The food was brilliant and the service was quick. The apartment itself is a great size and very secure with the security gate access. The whole apartment was lovely and clean and very well equipped. The abundance of outdoor seating makes alfresco dining especially for breakfast perfect. Only thing we did need which wasn't there was a dish cloth...though we did buy one. The apartment had everything from a safe to a hairdryer and WiFi access all which were very much appreciated. The pool area is great too. The kids pool is brilliant and the kids loved it, we didn't get to experience the adult pool but those we saw swimming in it seemed to be enjoying it! There is plenty of seating and at no time did we struggle to get a sun lounger, no early morning towel run for us! The little poolside bar is great. We loved the property and the whole experience from booking to the excellent communication till our arrival and our time there has certainly left a positive impact on us. We will highly recommend this to anyone and we will be returning.

Wonderful condo in a fabulous location

My husband and I stayed at Celia's condo in Praia da Luz in April 2022. The condo was very roomy, nicely situated in the complex, very clean, and very quiet. It has two nice-sized bedrooms, two FULL bathrooms (with nice big tubs), a living/dining area, and a modern, well-equipped kitchen. It also has three wonderful outdoor terraces to relax on. We had a great stay here!

Celia’s place is awesome! It looks just like the photos. It is super clean and in a great area for walking everywhere in Luz. We loved the nice slow vibe of Luz in March. Winter Stay in Luz

My travel partner and I spent a very comfortable month in Celia’s apartment in the Baia da Luz resort. The two bedroom, two bath apartment was roomy, very bright and as a corner unit it had three balconies which gave us access to the sun at different times of the day. We prepared most of our own meals and found nothing wanting in the kitchen. The efficient heating system rendered the apartment warm and cosy during the cool evenings. Bedding was changed weekly and fresh towels provided twice a week. We enjoyed the town of Luz which is charming and unassuming. The apartment was located within an easy drive to the towns of Lagos, Silves, Sagres, Alvor, Tavira and Loulé. What we loved most was the spectacular natural beauty of the many nearby cliffs and bays we explored. Unfortunately the Coronavirus outbreak cut short our Portugal trip. It was a very stressful time for us as we had to cancel our forward plans. Celia very kindly offered us extra time in the apartment as we scrambled to get ourselves home. We very much appreciate your consideration Celia. We would not hesitate to come back.

Luz Apartment

We stayed for a month (November) in this is lovely, well positioned apartment. The property and complex are well maintained inside and out, the twice weekly servicing is a bonus and removes any needs of thoughts of changing and washing linen. Everything in the property is in good condition and I suspect the policy is to replace items long before they are actually worn out. The balconies to the side and front mean that, even in November, you can sit out and enjoy the sunshine from 9AM to 4PM. All this, together with the heated swimming pool means you can have a very comfortable holiday, With regards the vicinity, it is a very pleasant flat walk to the beach, prom., village and restaurants. All of which are within 5 minutes walk. A longer walk (45 minutes each way) is to carry on along the coast, westwards to the next village. This is generally fairly easy going except for a 100 foot high mound which has to be ascended about three quarters of the way there.

Great location

We’ve holidayed in Luz a number of times but it was our first stay in Baia da Luz. The apartment was perfect for our family of two adults and two young children. The pool and play park were great entertainment and the beach was only a short walk away. The apartment itself was immaculate and really well stocked with everything you need. The only addition would be some plastic tumblers for the children but we just bought some paper cups for our stay. All in all a really great apartment in a great location.

Fab apartment in Luz

We have been to Luz a few times, but first time in these apartments. Very clean, great air conditioning and super beds. Throws on the sofas were a bit annoying as they kept falling off or you fell over them! Staff were lovely, had a problem with the wash basin reported it and someone there to repair that afternoon. Would go back to the apartment.

Stunning condo in a sweet village.

This unit had everything we could have wanted. It was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished, with comfy beds, great blackout blinds, big and modern bathrooms, and everything we could have needed. Small issue with AC that took a day to resolve, but otherwise we could not have been more comfortable. Loved all the space, and having milk and water in the fridge were really nice touches. Great pools across the street. Luz is a sweet little village, and the beach and town were an easy 10 minute walk from the unit. Really enjoyed our stay!

Paradise!!

We absolutely loved this place. It was new and modern, extremely clean, and a perfect location. We used all 3 of the balconies at different times of the day. The beds were very comfortable. We ate 2 meals a day there almost every day and found the kitchen well equipped. The 50 euros welcome package was a big hit. The pool area was also very welcoming. Rick Steves says to stay in Salema, but the hills there are unbearably steep. Lagos was very crowded. So stay between the two and be in luxury! The restaurants there were very good. Tie for #1 was Onda Luz and Chicca’s..... both very close. Next was A Fabrica at the beach and Alloro’s in the complex. The beach is definitely a family beach which we enjoyed. Do go to Ponta da Piedade which is near Lagos where the grottos, gorgeous colored water and orange hills are located...... a must see for the area. Celia, the owner, was very responsive. We didn’t want to leave.
