The tub didn't drain. The AC/heater had a loud knocking sound when it was running. Pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance. The treadmills in the gym were broken. The microwave in my room wouldn't work. But it was less than the $200+ a night of everyplace else in town

It is definitely dated but conveniently close to campus. Breakfast was less than stellar. The gravy wasn’t warm. Also the kid bringing out the bread was holding it bare handed against his shirt so that was not sanitary at all.

They quadrupled the price from $100 a night to $384 because it’s near Purdue, and it was parents’ weekend. For that, we got a dank, dark room with an air conditioner that was so loud, because it was so old, that it actually woke us up every time it went on. Couldn’t leave it on though as it would go off anyway. And for the kicker, the room was infested with fruit flies, clock didn’t work, nor did some of the lights.

The garbage was over full for all three days outside the elevator on the 3rd floor. The tile was super grimy in the common areas, and the “breakfast” was stale, covered w flies and disgusting. There even is a Walmart right across the street to have fresh milk for cereal and muffins, and bagels. It is clear the “owners” don’t have any hospitality training and while there are “pardon our dust” signs indicating updates - it’s very clear it is not an ongoing project. It services for cheap accommodations but taking pride in their establishment could go along way.

It was very comfortable staying there until somebody working in the area of our room started playing a loud radio right by our window. I couldn’t get anybody at the front desk to answer and the person didn’t want to turn it off. This was like at 8 o’clock in the morning on a Saturday. The hotel was very convenient and the room was comfortable, but the hotel needs painting and just brought up to top shape. I would stay there again.

Older property, apparently being renewed, but they hadn’t. gotten to to the room we had, which was worn and smelled stuffy. I reserved a king bed, but the clerk at check-in said they “didn’t have any left” and gave us a room with two full size beds. Otherwise ok. Breakfast was adequate and the room was reasonably priced.

This place must have been great in the past. Way past due for renovation in every area of the property. Friendly staff makes it up but can’t do much about plumbing issue, bad paint job, ripped carpet, and smelly old unit in general. I would not stay here again until the renovation is completed and reforms to its former glory.
