Lovely stay

Had a lovely stay in the hotel. Staff were helpful. Entrance lobby very nice for lounging around it and the private beach and jetties were lovely to have morning coffee on. We enjoyed the hotel “pub” where the staff were friendly. We didn’t try and hotel breakfasts and ate out every day we were there.

Good hotel. Great location.

Holiday with friends in New England. Hotel is in a great location as Wolfboro is an excellent spot to explore the area and has several good bars and restaurants. Hotel is good and would recommend overall although the rooms and public areas of the hotel are looking a bit dated and could be improved with modest investment.

Very mixed bag

$30 resort fee. No pool. No hot tub. Small beach with about 7 chairs. No working firepit but there were about 5 chairs surrounding it. No lawn chairs. Bar and restaurant not open in the evening. No idea what the resort fee covered. Not given WiFi on registration. (Not sure if it was free or not as I used my hotspot instead) Room was very worn. Table was warped and water stained. Chairs were frayed. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom was large and well equipped.

Nice but way overpriced

My husband and I needed a place to stay the night before picking our boys up at camp. The Wolfeboro Inn was the only place available, so I booked it despite the high price (even with a great sale on Hotels.com). We arrived in the early afternoon and did enjoy the private beach on Lake Winnipesaukee but I was disappointed in the room and amenities given the price. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom updated but the room lacked any character and only had a mini-fridge. No coffee maker or microwave. Nor do they include continental breakfast. The Inn property is huge, so they could add other outdoor amenities but it was mostly just a big lawn. It wasn't relevant to us since we just stayed one night but I was shocked to read that they don't provide daily housekeeping service at that price point. In short, it is way overpriced.

We loved our quick stay at the Wolfeboro Inn. The lakefront property is beautiful. My husband fished, I read in a lounge chair, and we both enjoy swimming in the lake. The bed was extremely comfortable, I slept great. We will definitely be back.

YOU CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD $30/DAY FOR AMENITIES??? WHAT AMENITIES??? I WAS NOT TOLD AT CHECK-IN THAT $30/DAY WAS GOING TO BE CHARGED, I WAS TOLD $50. WAS BEING HELD IN CASE OF DAMAGES OR INCIDENTALS. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT AMENITIES WERE ALLOWED ME??? WARM COFFEE IN A THERMOS FOR 2 HOURS IN THE MORNING. 1 BOTTLE OF WATER IN THE REFRIGERATOR UPON CHECK IN , NEVER REPLACED NO DAILY SERVICE, WE USED THE SAME TOWELS FOR THE ENTIRE STAY. YOU HAVE NO POOL AND HAD TO TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN TRASH. NO ICE MACHINE AVAILABLE THE RESTAURANT AND PUB WERE NOT AVAILABLE AT CHECKI N. THE "BEACH"??? SURROUNDED BY MOTOR BOATS AND THE POWER WASHING OF THE DOCKS INTO THE WATER. NOT SAFE FOR SWIMMING.WITH OIL/FUEL RUN OFF. THE PARKING LOT IS IN DIRE NEED OF REPAIR. MY FRIEND TRIPPED ON THE BROKEN CONCRETE AND STRAINED HER NEWLY REPLACED KNEE, ALMOST FALLING ON HER FACE, HAD I NOT CAUGHT HER. AN ANENITY?
