Weirs Beach is an area within the northern part of the city of Laconia in Belknap County, New Hampshire, United States. It is located on the southern shore of Lake Winnipesaukee.
Weirs Beach, or "The Weirs" as it is referred to by locals, is named for a wide, sandy, public beach on Lake Winnipesaukee. Adjacent to the beach and comprising the center of the village are a boulevard and boardwalk that run along a quarter mile stretch of Lakeside Ave.
The main summer port of the Winnipesaukee Flagship Company's MS Mount Washington is located on the boulevard. A large public dock is a popular stop for boaters on Lake Winnipesaukee.

The Weirs Beach area also contains the Winnipesaukee Playhouse, Funspot Family Fun Center, Mount Washington Cruises, the Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad, Weirs Drive-In Theater, and Half Moon Amusement Arcades. There is always fun to be had at Weirs Beach.

We did not get the beautiful king size room that was in the pictures. Instead, we stayed in an old small cottage with an uncomfortable double bed with a tiny bathroom, sagging floors, etc. I did receive an email saying we were assigned a cottage and assumed it was comparable to the 600 room but it definitely was not. I did email the inn the next day explaining that we feel we over paid and it is now two days later and have not received a reply back. Hopefully this does not happen to anyone else.

Great place to stay

Excellent property manager baked muffins every morning with coffee, wonderful view of the lake from the front porch (name is accurate), walk into town/nearby restaurants. I will be returning. Great place to explore the Lake Winnepesaukee region
