This place was truly incredible. I loved my stay here. About 15 min walk from the train station. The room was spacious, super clean and easy to communicate with the owners. The bathroom was big. Their food recommendations awesome and the place has so many great stores and restaurants close by

Palazzo Sant'Agostino by The First is an excellent location for exploring La Spezia and Cinque Terre. It was a 5 minute walk to the Ferry and 15 min to the train station. Lots of places to eat ( owner shared her favorite and it was great) shop and sight see just outside the door. The bed was so comfortable it was difficult to get out. Everything was clean and comfortable.

I booked two rooms here. The rooms were listed as “double or twin” which generally means that the beds could be separated, which I specifically requested. They were not separable so two members of our group had to find a room in a different hotel. The staff member I communicated with would not allow a refund for the room that we did not use and was pretty rude about it. There were also some amenities in the listing that were not actual features of the property/rooms. Lastly, the door handle on the door between the rooms and the hallway/stairs kept falling out which created a safety concern.

This is an amazing property located slap bang in the centre of La Spezia old town with restaurants, bars, cafés and independent shops on the doorstep. We had the duplex suite with a large lounge-diner area and bathroom downstairs, then a bedroom with massive bath tub and a further bathroom upstairs. The finish and cleanliness are exceptional with the room serviced daily. Despite the size of the apartment, there isn’t a kitchen but plenty of affordable places within a minutes walk. I think the only possible issue was the very steep stairs that might not be good for older guests or young children. All said, we’ll definitely be back again.

We stayed here for 4 nights (3 adults). The apartment is spacious and in a great location, but unfortunately our stay was overshadowed by several significant issues. From the first day, we reported that the bathroom floor was constantly wet. We dried it several times every day, but it kept getting wet again. From the second day, we also reported that the floor underneath the bed in the bedroom was completely soaked. At first, we were told to keep the windows closed, even though they had been closed the entire time. Later, we were told they would look into the issue, but we received no updates. When we followed up, we were informed that they had increased the underfloor heating, but the floor remained just as wet. We spent the rest of our stay repeatedly drying the floors with towels. When we asked what they considered to be reasonable compensation for the inconvenience, we were offered a complimentary bottle of Prosecco at their restaurant. We declined because we did not feel this was an appropriate solution given the circumstances. After explaining this, we were simply told that we should just take the offer. We did not feel that our concerns were taken seriously. There were other issues. The bedroom blind could not be fully closed, and the refrigerator/minibar was not cold. Overall, the apartment has good potential because of its size and excellent location, but the unresolved water problems and the disappointing handling of our complaints made this a disappointment

Overall, check-in was easy. The location was great. The room itself was nice if it weren't for the absolutely horrendous stench of sewage and the clogged sinks in the bathroom. The smell was horrific, it actually made me nauseous. The upstairs room was not as bad so we slept upstairs. We attempted to contact guest services but, they apparently only respond during the day not in the evening or early mornings. When they finally did respond to our message about the smell and the clogged sinks, they said the smell was because of the restaurant next door. They sent a maid to unclog the sink which only ended up causing the other sink to clog. The smell was still horrific and they were not helpful or apologetic in anyway. They offered no alternatives, no discount, nothing. And I can assure you, the smell wasn't fish from the restaurant next door. It wreaked of sewage smell. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you have zero sense of smell - and even then I'm not sure that is sanitary.

We stayed in the Presidential Duplex and I can say it is even more beautiful than the pictures. The suite is immaculate with 2 full bathrooms and ensuite bath tub, which is massive. The views are beautiful and all the restaurants surrounding the hotel are delicious (we tried them all in our 4 days in La Spezia). All communication with hotel staff was via Whatsapp with very quick and easy checkin and checkout, which ran very smoothly. About 15 minute walk from La Spezia Centrale train station - it is a great place to stay when visiting La Spezia/Cinque Terre region.

La habitación era muy bonita y estaba todo muy limpio. Se encuentra a unos 15 minutos caminando desde la estación pero el camino es agradable, está rodeada de tiendas. Llegas y te vas por tu cuenta, lo único que no nos agradó fue que solicitamos que no nos dieran servicio de limpieza pues dejamos cosas importantes dentro y aún así entraron. De ahí en fuera todo estuvo bien, es agradable para pasar la noche

Dejlig nyrenoveret lejlighed, med perfekt lokation midt i La Spezia. Ikke langt fra tog, som giver nem adgang til byerne i Cinque Terre. Det var en anelse lydt fra gården og nabogæsterne og der var ingen reception, samt eneste måde at kontakte på var WhatsApp beskeder, hvilket er bekymrende, hvis der sker noget, men det gjorde der heldigvis ikke for os. Vi kan godt anbefale dette sted, stor værdi for pengene.
