Fantastic Mountain Retreat: Charming Cabin in La Jara, Colorado, near Pagosa Springs

Escape to the backcountry and enjoy peace, solitude, and modern amenities! Waking up and walking out to the patio opens up panoramic views of the surrounding 13,000'+ mountains and adjoining valley.



This cabin is NOT for the faint of heart - it's 30+ miles from the nearest paved road and requires a high clearance 4x4 vehicle (a Subaru will NOT make it) or side-by-side to access the property safely. Please inquire to ensure your vehicle will be sufficient BEFORE booking :)



Firewood is provided for the wood stove. If you want to do an outdoor fire, we ask that you bring your wood for that. Bedding is NOT provided - please make sure you bring blankets and sheets, etc. pillows provided. There is no cleaning fee, but we do expect that you leave the cabin as you found it!
