Our cottage is a stand alone space on our property. We are in the Santa Cruz mountains 25 miles south of San Francisco, 10 miles from the beach and 1 hour from Santa Cruz. Our cottage looks down upon a lovely creek from a beautiful deck. Our area offers many open space hiking and biking trails.
Make yourself comfortable in this apartment, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private balcony. We had a wonderful day at this beautiful cottage in the trees. Great getaway to escape from the world and have a nice quiet time. Totally recommend this for anyone wanting a simple getaway near the redwoods and trees for hiking.

Parking was easy, right in front. The host checked in but was not intrusive (they live right behind). The room was clean, the kitchen was complete including food you might forget (plus what was left by the last folks). Note that there are no grocery or drug stores nearby, so come prepared

Great cottage

Immaculate, cute, and well appointed. Loved listening to the creek and being able to make use of the kitchen and gas grill. Convenient for hiking-appreciated the washer and dryer! If you are coming from San Francisco, Roberts market is a great stop on the way over. La Honda market also has some staples. Highly recommend this cottage, wonderful relaxing stay.

Marvelously Peaceful

We needed a peaceful retreat prior to a Monday morning appointment at the Stanford Spine Center. This cottage in the redwoods was just perfect. Lea greeted us when arrived. And we enjoyed a peaceful, private stay. Listening to the gentle flowing creek was wonderously soothing. We'll be back a couple more times for surgery and follow-up.
