We stayed in a double room with two beds and private bath, as opposed to the hostel section of the hotel which catered towards backpacker type travellers. The room was simple and very clean, comfortable and not fancy. Nice hot water for our morning showers and an easily controlled heat pump unit on the wall.
The staff was very friendly, especially Kevin, the weekend desk manager. The hotel is on the main route through town, so we heard a lot of street noise. We had a private balcony, and also sat in the front patio to enjoy our breakfast. They had fresh delicious fruits, yogurt, cheese, toast, cereal, and the like. It was easy to fill up on food we enjoyed.
