The apartment was perfect… very modern, very clean and well kept and great location near Arenal Volcano. Wonderful views from the balconies. The host was very kind, always available and responsive to answer any questions or provide information when needed, and checked in to make sure everything was going well.

Great choice and central location

This property was clean, well maintained and felt very safe. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great, good internet and AC. The view of the volcano was majestic! Not a very quiet area but being close to shops made up for that.

La Fortuna Stay

Overall, the location is decent and close to Fortuna and other attractions. However, it can be noisy due to surrounding dogs and the house being on a busy street. The beds were a bit too firm, and the shower glass door wasn't positioned properly, causing it to slam, which could be dangerous if it breaks. Initially the wrong code was provided and then it was switched up just in time on our arrival.

Nice place, A/C issues

Very nice interior, very clean, felt safe inside fence, great view of volcano. Negatives are it is on a very busy street with lots of loud traffic, also very close to primary school. Biggest negative was the A/C cut off every day at noon. Coming in after a day of hiking, it was miserably hot and takes hours to cool b/c there are only 2 small units in the bedrooms.

We had some trouble finding the property in the dark, but the host was quick to help us and a great resource for local attractions. The property has everything our family needed and was very comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend it!

Perfect Location and Beautiful Views of Volcano

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home! It was easy to access with an amazing view of the volcano and such close proximity to town. We walked to dinner every night with no problem, approximately a 5 minute walk. Gabriela was also an amazing host and responded right away!!

Nice place 5 minutes from main town

This is a great two bedroom apartment in the La Fortuna area. It was very clean and up to date. Had everything you needed for a few day stay. One thing to keep in mind is that this is located on a busy street where lots of cars and motorcycles will drive by 24/7 so be wary of the noise. Another thing is that the location on the listing is quite different from the actual location of the property. Maybe the owner will update that accordingly. Regardless, we enjoyed staying in this property for our La Fortuna trip

Very beautiful and clean 2 bedroom apartment with great views of the volcano. I enjoyed the kitchen space with easy outdoor patio access for morning coffee and view of the mountains. We will stay again.

Perfect modern appartment

Fortuna in the "Dry" season

Other than our initial hic-up with finding the place, everything was exactly as the pictures show. The condo is a short distance from the town center, but is easy walking distance to a grocery store, bakery, coffee shop and several restaurants. There's even a fried chicken place about 100 feet from your front door. The condo was very clean and is well furnished and had everything we needed. There is some road noise during the day and the occasional rooster in the morning, but nothing that would keep us from returning.

La Fortuna getaway

Very accommodating and helpful host and for us a last minute gem. Very clean, secure, and comfortable with a great shower and many extras like free use of a wash machine and dryer! Convenient walking distance to restaurants, shops and a beautiful garden just two blocks away.

Great combination of being walkable to places to go in La Fortuna and being on the edge of nature in a Costa Rican neighborhood. The upstairs unit was well done, efficient and full of consciousness! We hope to come again!

All The Comforts of Home

Apartment Arenal G&G Volcano is a comfortable, clean and modern accommodation that is WELL worth the money! It has all of the comforts of home and private, secure parking. Gabriela is available if there's anything that you need. It is situated in very close proximity to local restaurants and a bakery, with easy access to the town's major thoroughfare. There is also a great washer and dryer, so that you can catch up on laundry while you're on the road. I have absolutely no negatives to share after this stay. It was top notch!

Great apartment

The apartment was perfect for our needs. Comfortable beds, great shower and sufficient cooking facilities. Gabriela was very responsive, and also checked everything was OK for us. Just a short walk to a good supermarket, cafes, coffee shops and restaurants. It took us a few go's to master the key to get in, but once we worked that out we had no problems. Would recommend the apartment as it is in a good location, very well fitted out and a reasonable price.

Daughter's College Grad Trip

Very clean, perfect size apartment in town...easy to walk to different restaurants, etc. I was very fortunate to meet the owner...she was so nice and extremely helpful...very fast & effective communication any time we needed anything! I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay

Gabriela is a fantastic host. She gave us great directions to the property and was very responsive answering all the questions we had. The property itself was perfect for our family of four with all the amenities we needed. The supermarket and bakery are walking distance, so are restaurants and souvenir shops. La Fortuna is 5 mins by car. Highly recommend staying with Gabriela and taking in the local culture is Costa Rica

Clean and nice apartment

Such a great place

This is a great property in La Fortuna. The property manager was very helpful with all parts of checkin/checkout communication. The property is close to everything in La Fortuna. My family had a great time - and would definitely want to stay here again next time we visit La Fortuna.

Gabriela is a fantastic host. She answered all our questions at the apartment. I highly recommend staying here! We had no vehicle and could walk to town, restaurants, get groceries, and also walk to various attractions like the waterfall and sloth park.

Our stay in La Fortuna was incredible. The check in process with the host was seamless and she responded quickly to our messages when we had questions during our stay. It was so nice to stay at a VRBO where the Wi-Fi was dependable, washer and dryer available and walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants, and even a delicious chocolate store. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable home away from home
