Great location with water front view and short walk to the town. Private parking (for a fee). Very friendly and helpful staff, not least during check in/out. We had a nice room with terrace. Both the room and bathroom need an update. The outdoor facilities are very touristic, “plastic” ambience and fake grass. The decor of the restaurant is OK and the food average. I am not sure I will call this a 5* property.

Arrival at the hotel is great and welcoming from car valet and reception. The rooms are little sad as they are quite dark but they do have good facilities (although the pull down blind blocked access to part of the kitchenette). The pool is nice and clean but lacks much shade and there is a beach literally just outside the hotel. We decided to take a drink at the bar after our long journey but the bar man was more interested in taking down all the umbrellas despite it still being very sunny. When we did get a drink he had to look up recipes for cocktails on his phone and we had to ask for a flute rather than a tumbler for a glass of champagne! He needs more training!!! We foolishly decided to have dinner in the restaurant and it was terrible; the staff don’t really listen and we had to speak to two different people to get water, my husbands lobster was undercooked and I couldn’t get any condiments to go with my sub. When my salad didn’t turn up we just gave up! The staff were extremely apologetic when we complained about the meal but by then we totally put off. I must add though that the views of the sea were lovely. The next morning we wandered around the corner to La Flotte town and there are so many restaurants with pretty outlooks that looked good. I would avoid the hotel restaurant completely.
