The mountain climb up is interesting but well worth the trip. The air is so clean and it is incredibly peaceful and quiet. The hosts were a delight. It is nice to meet genuinely good people. The meals were good home cooked food and we felt we have value for money. It is a quirky place but full of heart.

Great hotel and excellent food

A really great hotel, very friendly owners. Clean and comfortable room, basic but had everything I needed. Beautiful location as a base for exploring / walking in the area. Great hotel and excellent food

A really great hotel, very friendly owners. Clean and comfortable room, basic but had everything I needed. Beautiful location as a base for exploring / walking in the area. Restaurant très agréable avec une déco originale comme on trouve rarement , le patron et le personnel très sympathique des rencontres de personnes le soir au repas avec une nostalgie du bon vieux temps J'ai adoré , dommage que deux jours. Les prix plus que raisonnables avec un petit déjeuner et le repas du soir copieux et excellents. Je recommande vivement j'espère y retourner .

Auf dem Pass mitten in den Bergen ganz ruhig gelegen. Michel ist sehr herzlich. Das Essen war fein. Leider ist alles etwas alt, unordentlich und nicht ganz so sauber. Ein spezielles Erlebnis. Die vielen Huskies waren nachts ruhig.

Une petite déception

Un peu deçu par rapport aux bons opinions et photos. L'hotel vieillissant et apparaments les proprietaires certes gentils mais proches de la retraire n'ont pas envie de renover. On peut comprendre cela mais la qualité des services baisse. Le lit confortable, les serviettes propres mais pas repassées. A signaler très mauvais rapport qualité prix pour le repas du soir. 21€ pour pour entrée plat et dessert sans boissons et pratiquement sans choix dans le menu est très cher.Même si les plats sont faits maison. Par contre le petit dejeuner correct.

Authentique et sympathique

Loin des hotels standardisés les chamois est un hôtel de famille à la croisé des chemins entre une auberge et un refuge de montagne. L’accueil y est excellent et très personnel. Le confort est la, la nourriture est bonne et variée. La décoration n’est certes pas de dernière jeunesse mais cela fait le charme de l’endroit. Un retour à l’essentiel et une super expérience pour un très bon rapport qualité prix. Bref nous avons passé une très bonne semaine, authentique et sympathique, aux chamois. Un bon point de départ pour randonner et visiter le Mercantour.

Tres agréablement surpris par l'amenagement de la salle restaurant avec des objets vintage des années , objets que moi-même collectionne. Simpatia, amabilidad en un ambiente muy bueno!

Très bien Mr est très sympa, et les filles aussi, et bien disponible pour m'aider garde mon vélo,remplir mes bouteilles.. j'ete très bien! Je reviendrai avec mes amis et famille Todo muy bien ambiente convivial y todos simpaticos, aconsejo a todos visiter el lugar!

Sammelsurium an Spielautomaten und Hunde im Gastraum. Das Haus hat seine besten Tage schon lange her gehabt. Unser Bett war eine Katastrophe, Lattenrost würde wörtlich genommen und Nachts hat es meine Frau gefroren. Das Vorzeige Zimmer auf dem Bild war wohl besser.
